Alex noticed the shorter girl and smiled a bit. "May I join you?" he asked, politley. He wasn't the type of person that harrassed kids, thats just- ew-
He has a husband, after all.
"I'm sure my husband wouldn't mind…" He trailed off, thinking.
She frowned and tilted her chin downwards, considering. A few moments of silence passed, and then she looked up curiously, a spark of determination in her blue eyes.
"Do you know how to build a rope swing?"

Alex gasped. "Yes, I do! My daughter made me make one for her birthday!" He smiled.
Sadira glanced downwards and shuffled her feet. "Do you think you could help me make one?"

"Of course!" He smiled happily, a bright aura coming from him. "By the river?" He assumed.
She nodded. "By the river. There's a pool, and… I want to build a rope swing, but… I don't know how."

Alex took her hands and smiled. "Well, let's go then, hm?" He asked, happily.
Sadira led him through the forest to a river. The water was clear, and there was a deep pool, lined with flat stones. There was a canopy and a hammock, as well as a lean-to.
Sadira set her books down on a boulder and pulled a piece of rope, a board, some nails, and a hammer out of a hollow in between a few rocks. "Here's this."

Alex nodded, before hanging the rope on the tree, and making sure it was stirdy before nailing the board to the rope, and sat on it, swinging back and fourth. "I think it works!" He said, happily.
"Oh, thanks." Sadira tried it out. It worked perfectly.

Alex nodded. "Of course."
She shuffled her feet awkwardly and looked down, mouth curling to one side.

"Are you alright?" Alex asked, looking towards the smaller girl.
"Yeah. Um, I just… thanks for putting the rope swing up. I've been wanting one for a really long time."

Alex smiled warmly. "Of course!"
Sadira smiled, and then glanced around awkwardly, hugging herself. "Well, I guess you can go now…"

Alex smiled, before sighing, handing her a small piece of paper. "Here, if you wanna come over sometime, you can!" He smiled warmly, before walking off.
Once he got home, he saw his husband, Xavi. "Hey babe!" He smiled, kissing him softly as Xavi chuckled happily. "Hey love.
Sadira held the piece of paper in her hands. It had an address on it.
Slumping down into her hammock, she folded the paper up and hid it in the hollow space between the rocks. Maybe she would visit sometime. He really had been very kind.

Alex sighed, before his daughter came up, running into her arms. "Papa!" She squealed, as Alex giggled, twirling her in the air. "Hello, my dearest." He said, kissing her forehead and sitting her down.
Sadira decided to gather wildflowers. There was a nearby field covered in the brightly coloured blooms, and she had the vague idea to make bouquets and dry them, so her lean-to could look nice in winter. There would be some colour in the world of white.
Slipping a pair of scissors and a few rubber bands into the pocket of her dress, she headed out to the field and began to gather flowers.

Alex played with his little girl for a bit, then got started on dinner.
He made riceballs, and Sukiyaki. He smiled, calling the two in for dinner, as Xavi grabbed his waist and kissed him, smiling softly. "Thanks." he whispered, pulling away and walking off as Alex smiled. "Of course.
(Perhaps they could head to the field where Sadira is, with the vague idea of also gathering wildflowers? IDK)

Alex and his daughter, Lia, both walk down to the wildflower area, and sees a whole field of them and smiles. "How about you pick some for Daddy?" He asks, mentioning Xavi.
Sadira, who had been gathering flowers, noticed the twosome and recognised the taller one. Snipping another stem, she slipped her scissors back into her pocket and walked through the field towards them.

Alex noticed Sadira and smiled. "Why, hello!" He smiled happily.
"Hi," she said awkwardly, giving a little wave.

The little girl who seemed to be next to Alex rushed up to Sadria and hugged her. "Hello!"
Sadira, startled, stepped back slightly. "Oh, um, hi."

The little girl was nearly 5, and she looked up at Sadira, and smiled brightly. "Your very pretty, miss!" She said, happily.
"Oh, um…" Sadira felt heat creep up her face; she wasn't used to being complimented by total strangers - or strangers at all, actually. "Thanks."
