" yeah it is done. But I still have a few hours to live"
“Yup.” Chiara hummed, moving around the huge kitchen. “Where are all the servants?”

"he hasn't had any for a few months. Wanted to be more on his own."
"Makes sense." She slid open a drawer, pulling out a delicate silver spoon and holding it up to the light.

"grab everything you want then we are leaving to drive to a place…." he said then stood up.
"What place?" She opened her back and grabbed a handful of silverware, moving to the living room and searching for items that looked pricey.

“Can’t tell you yet, but it is a 36 hour drive from her. That would mean i would have 10 hours to live once we arrive.” He said then looked around the room.
Chiara crossed her arms, eyeing a particularly shiny candleholder. "Hold on a second. I'm not budging until you tell me, trust has to go both ways. And second, I'm not quite done… borrowing from our kind host."

"well once you are done. We can go. And also the place is a secret." He said to her.
"Why? I'm trusting you, therefore you have to trust me. Why can't I know where we're going? For all I know, you could be taking me somewhere that I'd die."

"I am bringing you three states over to a small town that has amazing cheeseburgers!" He yelled telling her the truth.
Chiara flinched back when he yelled, an automatic panic reaction setting off in her mind from the sudden noise. She took a moment to calm herself, glancing back at him dubiously. "How come?"

"because I am hungry and want a cheeseburger…" He responded slowly.
"You're crossing three states…. for a cheeseburger," she stated, just as slowly.

"yes. Now grab what you want and we are going." He said seriously.
Chiara gave up. The guy had to be crazy. "Fine. I'm going to run upstairs quickly, he migh have more valuables."

"alright. Have fun" he said then went and sat on the couch.
After successfully ransacking the top floor, Chiara descended the steps again. “Right, off we go.”

He nodded then walked out the door and down the street to the car then got in and waited for her.
She followed, careful not to be seen as she hauled her bag, laden with valuables, into his trunk. Climbing into the passenger seat, she glanced over at him, resolving to make his death quick and painless.

He started the car then drove in the direction that he needed to go for his destination.
Chiara leaned back in her seat, glancing at the view outside the window.

He kept driving in the direction of the restaurant. Staying quiet the whole time.
Eventually, Chiara got tired of the silence. "I'm bored. Tell me a bit about yourself."
