Arthur felt the breeze shift, and hummed curiously, but he didn't move. He wasn't scared of whatever it was, but he wasn't going to make a stupid mistake and accidentally disturb some wild creature on the hunt.`
Boredom + Stress + Nothing to do + I NEED A NEW ROLEPLAY!!! (O/O possible another gay romance, please come with a plot idea....)
group
Raphael flapped his wings irritably, growing tired of waiting. The small gusts of wind his wings created disturbed the leaves along the forest floor. "Hello?" he called out. He ruffled his feathers before settling them back down, his wings neatly tucked in.
Arthur heard someone call out, not too far away. He'd been watching something white move for a bit now, but now it had stopped. He smirked, echoing the voice. "Hello!" he called.
group
Raphael rolled his eyes and adjusted the bag around his shoulder. "I don't particularly care for wasting my time on talking trees, so if you're not going to show yourself, Imma just leave."
Arthur huffed quietly, moving from his spot to the next tree branch lightly, eventually ending up near the boy, within eyesight. "And who said you were wasting your time?" he asked, balancing on the branch Spidey style.
group
"Me. And I have yet to determine if you're gonna be useful, so I stand by my statement." Raphael gave the newcomer a quick once over, his wings tucked in tight. He might do, if he'll agree.
(Raphie is 21, btw)
(Arthur would be a little older than that, (Cause timeline for past events) but we can flub it to similar..)
"And how would I need to be useful?" asked Arthur, studying the other's wings curiously.
group
(how much older? If it's not too much we can keep it as they are)
"I have to go across the continent to a temple to make a delivery. Think you could keep me from, oh, I don't know, getting killed?" Raphael arched a brow, shifting his weight a bit.
Arthur smirked, "Of course I can do that, provided you don't commit suicide.." he said.
group
Raphael rolled his eyes, flaring his wings some and settling them back down. "Like I'd do that. So you're in? Any payment needed for your graciousness?" He said, a tad bit sarcastic.
(sorry, got a shower and then did some things)
"I don't really have need for cash, just a cure for boredom" he said, coming down fro. The tree with a light jump.
group
He blinked in slight surprise but shrugged. "Alright, then a trek across the continent should be a nice cure."
"My thoughts exactly" he said.
(Sorry for the short/infrequent replies, I'm on my phone and will be going to help with my sister's baseball soon)
group
"The thing is," He ran a hand through his white hair, wings curling around his shoulders some. "I don't exactly know where I'm going."
"Lost are we?" He asked, shaking his head slightly.
(Sorry, had to do stuff)
group
(Gonna have to do stuff as well, so I don't know how often I can reply)
Raphael scowled and crossed his arms. "I'll have you know that I was just dumped here with a vague mention of a temple of sorcerers."
(Same)
"Sounds about right" he said.
group
"Wait, what?" Raphael blinked in confusion. This strange person was just confusing in general.
"Sorcerers are always he confusing" he said by way of explanation, mentally checking with Discordion for directions.
group
"Try apprenticing under one that expects perfection while giving out vague instructions," he grumbled.
"Sounds typical" he said, giving a mental jab to D. (Discordion, his name is long…)
group
Raphael shifted again and flapped his wings restlessly. "So are we going to go or not? The wind isn't being helpful right now–it just led me to you."
Arthur turned to face him, "Yep, let's get going!" He said, begjnnjng to walk jn one direction.
group
He grumbled in a foreign tongue and followed–wait… "Oh, right. We haven't exchanged names yet," he realized.
"Name's Arthur" he said, "Arthur Wolfheart".
group
"Raphael Salvotor." He made sure to keep his distance from Arthur. It's not that he has anything against the guy, but he had plenty of times where people touched his wings without permission.
Arthur knew enough not to touch the wings, knowing frkm experience that they were sensitive to touch.
group
"This would be so much easier if the old man just teleported me somewhat close to this damn temple. It's just a freaking box, too," he grumbled.
