Arthur settled back into flight above hkm, studying the other's wing movements.
Boredom + Stress + Nothing to do + I NEED A NEW ROLEPLAY!!! (O/O possible another gay romance, please come with a plot idea....)
group
Raphael tilted his wings to flip back around onto his stomach, flapping a few times to regain balance.
Arthur watched him, turning and flying below him.
group
Raphael arched a brow as he looked down at Arthur. "Hi?" he asked with a hint of amusement.
"Hullo!" he said playfully.
group
He snorted. "Can't bear to part with this beautiful face?" he asked sarcastically, gesturing to his face.
"Oh of course not!" he said teasingly, "You my friend are beautiful!"
group
He rolled his eyes. "I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not." He's certainly more…talkative…as of late. At least more expressive.
Arthur watched him, curious to see what he'd do next.
group
Raphael's eyes gleamed and he flicked his wrist. A small gust of wind knocked into Arthur, slightly pushing him off balance.
Arthur huffed, riding it and gliding higher above the other, recovering quickly.
group
Raphael pouted and flipped back over onto his back to look up at Arthur. "That didn't go as planned."
"Nope.." said Arthur, "I also don't have feathers you can ruffle to knock me off balance."
group
He stuck his tongue out. "I'll admit, feathers sometimes are a nuisance."
"Wings in general can be a nuisance." he said.
(I'M SORRY FOR VANISHING I HAD TO DO STUFF)
group
(It's okay! I'm currently in school so I understand!)
"True that," he huffed, then gestured up to Arthur. "But at least you can get rid of your wings whenever you want."
"There was a few years where I couldn't figure out how to do that, so I do know the pain.." he said.
group
"Ah ha," Raphael said in triumph. "So you did get to suffer with the rest of us. Do you know how hard it is to keep feathers cleaned properly? It's a nightmare, I tell you."
"So I've heard" said Arthur, "Though you should try keeping scales looking this nice.."
group
Raphael studied the scales with interest. "Hmm. They do look difficult. They sensitive like mine?"
"Yes…" he said, "I'm pretty sure wing sensitivity is a given"
group
"Well, I was just wondering since you have scales instead of feathers," he defended.
"Alright.." said Arthur, nodding in his direction.
group
Raphael muttered in his native tongue and flipped back around. "That gives me a headache…"
Arthur chuckled, but said nothing on the subject.
group
Raphael glided next to Arthur, the tips of his outermost feathers just barely inches from Arthur's wings.
Arthur could see how close they were.
group
Raphael didn't seem to notice as he closed his eyes, basking in the sunlight as they flew.
Arthur flew carefully, keeping one eye on the other.
