Call my lifeline (one-on-one//closed)

Kyle placed his phone on the ground before hugging him back, "It's nothing, really. Just me overreacting about it."

Arthur reached over him and grabbed the phone, giving him a quick look before checking the text. "Rats" he growled softly when he saw it, quickly he blocked the number, and pulled Kyle into a tight hug, feeling oddly protective of the other…

Kyle closed his eyes tightly, afraid the waterworks might turn on if he didn't. Every text, every comment or push in the school hall way was like someone twisting a dagger another inch and it was slowly killing him, he had scars to prove it, too.

Arthur hugged him even tighter, Wanting to make him feel safe again. You're not the only one with scars….. he thought, knowing full well what was happening.

Kyle buried his face in the crook of Arthur's neck, wanting to just stay like this and hide away from everything and everyone. But Arthur made him feel something other then lonely and he wanted to make that feeling last.

Arthur felt himself going a bit red, but he pulled Kyle closer, tighter, ruffling the other's hair.

Kyle felt himself smile the slightest bit, a few of his thoughts disappearing. He felt as if this felt right, but then again, he could be going crazy.

Arthur smiled when he felt Kyle calm down, "Better?" he asked quietly.

Kyle nodded a little bit, but he didn't move from their position, "A little…" He whispered.

Arthur pulled him closer, eventually beginning to hum quietly. His tune was random, discordant, but oddly soothing.

Kai relaxed even more, his features and body no longer tense. He couldn't think of anybody who made him feel as safe as Arthur did.

Arthur smiled when he felt Kyle relax completely, never letting his tune cease as he pondered over the fact that he felt so protective of Kyle.

At this point, Kyle could probably fall asleep again, which was unusual as he could never take naps but then again, he'd never felt his stomach flip at the thought of being held but a guy before.

Arthur soon stopped humming, happy to stay exactly where he was, and wonder what it was about Kyle…. that-that made him so likeable??

For the first time in a long time, Kyle felt happy. And he wanted to make that feeling last as long as he possibly could. Arthur was a… miracle.

Arthur smiled, nuzzling the other's hair, trying to take in as much of his scent as possible.

Kyle giggled quietly at that though he enjoyed the feeling. It also tickled a little, too.

Arthur grinned even more, his fingers lacing around Kyle's back.

The way Arthur touched him made him squirm a little. But it also sent sparks though his body, good ones, though.

Arthur giggled when Kyle squirmed, "You ok?" he asked, trying not to laugh.

"You're tickling me." Kyle replied, looking up at Arthur though his lashes.

"Tickling?" Arthur smirked playfully, running his fingers over that spot on the other's back.

Kyle again squirmed in Arthur's arms and giggled, "Y-Yes."

Arthur laughed, pulling him closer so he couldn't squirm as much, "You're adorable."

(It's red on my Ipad, just like… a deep red)
"N-No I'm not." Kyle replied though his giggles.

"Yes you are!" said Arthur, grinning as he pulled Kyle closer, his grip on the other firm, and a little tight..

Kyle shook his head, biting his lip to stop himself giggling too much.

Arthur reached up to ruffle the other's hair, smiling, "Cutie"

"No! I'm vicious and mean." Kyle playfully pushed at Arthur's chest with the little space between them.
