Met chuckled with him, shifting in his chair to sit forward. "You were born with a curse," He said wistfully.

"Oh, everyone is these days," Kadachi chuckled. He had reached over now, very gently rubbing his fingers over the surface of Met's tattoos

One of the butterflies was a deep ocean blue color, the other before it a cyan, and before that a teal. There seemed to be more up his arms, and maybe on his shoulders, but Kadachi couldn't see them. Met smiled a little and looked down at where he was tracing them.

Eventually, Kadachi looked up from where he was gently tracing the butterflies, a soft smile on his face. "Do you have any more? That I can see, anyways," he asked

Met shook his head. "These are the only ones I got that are publicly able to be shown. Unless you wanted me to take off my shirt…" He trailed off with a chuckle. "Which you don't. I think I already look enough like eye-candy," He followed up.

"You…You definitely aren't wrong," Kadachi admitted, a very light flush returning to his cheeks as he chuckled. He wished he had such a fit, nice body like that again. Maybe if he did, he would actually stand a chance at dating…

Met grinned faintly and pulled his sleeves back down, humming softly. He had to admit to himself that sleeves at the elbows was hella hot (in his opinion, anyway) but he felt the too-low collar was enough.

Kadachi mentally slapped himself, quickly getting out of that train of thought. Though it definitely wasn't an improvement to glance Met over again and realize Hey, maybe he'd actually like to date me, if I really tried. You don't have to be super buff to date a buff guy, do you?

(Lmao Met is not buff. He's about the opposite, really, he's skinny as hell. Neo's the buffer one.)

Met picked up his menu and looked it over as Kadachi struggled with himself, a small smile dancing on his pale lips as he looked over appetizers.
"Mmm, I'm not sure we should get an appetizer. The buffet is well-worth on its own."

(Yeah but compared to Kadachi he’s buff. And my boi has self esteem/body issues so he always thinks everyone else is buffer than him)

“We could do that, then. Split the check,” Kadachi mused, looking over his own menu while also using it to hide his reddened face

"No, I'll take the check," Met declared boldly, setting down the menu and crossing his fingers together.

Kadachi’s eyes widened, and he found himself quickly protesting. “No, no, you don’t have to,” he insisted

"Oh, but I do," Met assured softly, waving a hand. "I'm perfectly able to pay for it, get whatever you'd like."

"Are you…are you sure?" Kadachi asked, still wide-eyed as he spoke. He really appreciated it, sure, but it would be rude to make Met pay for everything

"Of course I'm sure," Met said, looking up with a small smile. He brushed a curly strand of black hair out of his eyes and looked around. "Hmmm, so wanna go get our food, now?"

Kadachi went to protest again, but eventually he decided to just give in. "Yeah, yeah we can go get our food," he said with a small smile

Met stood, grinning and sticking his hands in his pockets. "It's over back there." He gestured with an elbow.

Kadachi nodded, taking a last sip of his tea before standing up, stretching and accidentally showing a little of his smooth belly when his sweater rode up, a peek of what looked like a fern tattoo showing on his hip

Met couldn't help glancing down and catching sight of his bare hips for a few moments. Met turned a faint red that showed clear on his cheeks, and looked up towards the buffet, trotting over and trying to control himself.

Kadachi finished stretching, smoothing down the grey fabric before following after Met. "Someone's hungry," he teased, almost having to jog to keep up

"Eh?" Met said with a stolen glance behind him. He paused when he realized he was across the restaurant. "Sorry, I walk a lot faster than what I think." He laughed.

"It's okay," Kadachi said with a small laugh, grinning as he finally caught up with Met. He smiled cutely up at Met now, looking up at him with big, adorable eyes

Met looked down with a small grin and continued walking, humming softly. "So, have you ever had Indian before?"

"Not really, actually. I usually go out for things like burgers or Mexican food with my friends," Kadachi admitted with a small, embarrassed smile

"Mm, Mexican food is really good," Met said approvingly, nodding as he picked up a plate and started nosing at one of the dishes, licking his lips

Kadachi nodded, grabbing a plate as well before looking around. He wasn't sure what was what, so he figured he'd just get what looked vaguely appetizing

Met glanced at his lost-looking date and started to point out the dishes. Some were vegetarian (some vegan), some had lamb, a lot had chicken, and many had veggies like pepper.

Kadachi nodded and followed where Met points, eventually settling on the lamb and some of the veggies. He was hungry, sure, but he wasn't sure he could eat more than a small plateful

Met tugged on his shirt before stretching across the table, reaching for a ladel uite awkwardly. It was that of a chicken and veggie dish that Met seemed to love, because he filled his entire plate with it.

Kadachi watched him a moment, and when he was done he decided it couldn't hurt to try a little on the side. So he got some for himself, tucking it neatly with his other food before setting the ladle back
