Met mumbled something in not-English yet otherwise didn't respond. The man, like the last few times, relaxed when the knot was worked out.

Kadachi kept up the gentle rubbing, soothing the ache before beginning to move more towards Met’s neck, rubbing the base gently
Met continued his grumbles in the second language, and Kadachi didn’t find more knots to work out.
Kadachi still rubbed gently at Met's neck and shoulders, occasionally giving slightly firmer squeezes. "Better now?" he asked
Met shut his eyes sightly at the rough squeezes and gentle massages. Once the knots were gone, it was quite pleasant.
"Yeah. It's fine."
Kadachi just hummed, continuing his soothing path. Idly, he wondered if he could tease Met with that "kissing it better" thing he had mentioned, but he guessed it was a little too soon to mess with him like that
Met started messing with his hair, curling the ends around his fingers as he enjoyed the massage. Idly, he wondered when Kadachi was going to leave.
Eventually, Kadachi's ministrations slowed. "You good?" he asked after a moment, smiling warmly as he spoke. He just felt happy to be of any help
"Yeah, I think I am." Met stretched a little. "If I knew you better, I'd ask you for a full body massage." He chuckled.
"You'll have to take me out sometime first," Kadachi teased, grinning as he gave Met's cheek a playful little pat
Met chuckled and stood from his chair, turning and grabbing his cup. "Right. I think I'll take you up on that."
"Yeah? Any ideas on where you wanna take me?" Kadachi hummed, now sitting atop the table with that same heart-melting grin on his face again
"Mmmm… There's a nice Indian place a few minutes away from here. They're having a buffet hour near dinner, today…"
"Yeah? Well, I suppose I wouldn't be adverse to that," Kadachi hummed, grinning a bit more now. "How's five sound?" he asked
Met grinned a small grin of his own as he opened the fridge for more milk. "That sounds wonderful."
"I'll meet you there, then? I have to run home here soon, I have pets to take care of," Kadachi said, standing and stretching before gathering up the cookies
"Oh, yeah, sure. Would you like to swap phone numbers?" Met asked softly, turning to face him. His grin had fallen away to a face of careful neutrality.
"Yeah, sure," Kadachi said, reaching into his pocket for his own phone, internally wincing at how ridiculous the little chibi charm that dangled from the case looked right now
Met took an old-model phone off of a charger. It was a nice Samsung. He unlocked his phone with a complex password and turned to the other, gesturing for him to go first.
Kadachi nodded, taking the phone and entering his contacts, even adding his best attempt at a selfie for the contact photo. He then handed it back before holding his own out to Met, the little cookie charm attached to his case dangling
Met added his number and name ("Met", not his full name, good try). He didn't leave a photo.
"You can do whatever with the photograph." He handed back the phone, pocketing his own.
Kadachi nodded, taking his phone back with a small smile. "I'll text you when I'm on my way," he said, putting his phone in his pocket now
Met nodded, wondering what he should wear. "Alright. I'll see you in a few hours."
(should we do a skip/see what the other characters are doing)
(Let's mmmmmm skip bc Neo didn't go back.)
(aight so we're still doing Met n Kadachi?)
(Ye, for now.)
(aight)
Kadachi was a little early at the restaurant, and had already ordered himself a drink. He sipped his tea idly, fingers drumming along the table's surface as he glanced around, waiting for Met
(Ye. Also it's an Indian buffet restaurant, so)
Met entered the cafe with a neat black dress-shirt on with matching gray khakis. He spotted Kadachi and scooted across the restaurant, smoothing back his hair for the umpteenth time.
"Hey," Met said breathlessly. "Sorry I'm late."
(oh shit I spaced lmao lemme fix that)
"Oh, it's alright. I was early," Kadachi assured him, smiling warmly. He glanced Met over, almost immediately feeling underdressed. He had exchanged his prior clothes for an adorable grey turtleneck and a pair of black jeans with small rips in them, but he couldn't help but feel like he should have worn something better
