Ellis rolled his eyes. "Yeah, maybe."
"I'll be fine. Now, let's either talk about something else or I'll just let you rest."
He nodded a little bit. "Alright."
"So, what would you like to talk about, Ellis?" Lloyd asked.
He shrugged. "I don't know."
Lloyd sighed softly. "Well, are you in much pain? I can ask the nurse to give you more pain medication."
He shifted a little. "No, I'm fine."
Lloyd nodded and was quiet for a few seconds. "Would you like me to leave you alone?"
Ellis shrugged. "I…I don't know."
"Well, I don't want to intrude or bother you if you want to be alone."
"No, it's…company owuld be nice."
Lloyd nodded and stayed put. "Alright. I'll stay, then. Do you need anything?"
He smiled a little bit, then shook his head. "I'm…I don't need anything, no. But thank you!"
"No problem, Ellis. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, okay? You know how I feel about people getting hurt."
Ellis nodded a little bit. "I will. Thanks." he replied.
Lloyd nodded in reply and glanced around the room again. "Other than… uh… getting shot, how are you liking the castle?" He asked.
He laughed a little at that. "It's…it's fine." he replied with a shrug. "I suppose."
"You get used to it. I promise." Lloyd smiled weakly and sighed. "I've heard it's quite different to the… um… 'outside world'."
"Yeah, it is." He agreed after a moment. "Quite definitely very different."
Lloyd nodded. "Different worries, right? About food and such…"
"Yeah, exactly." he replied with a nod. "It's a whole different thing."
"Mhmm. I hope it's a good different for you, at least."
He shrugged, looking away for a moment. "…yeah."
"Is everything alright, Ellis?" Lloyd asked.

He shrugged. "it's fine."
