Lloyd sighed softly. "I thought this was important to you?"
"Yes."
"Then put in some effort. Prove that you care. This is no small matter."
"Fine." he replied simply.
"Now, you are dismissed. I don't really care what you do as long as you aren't bullying children or something."
Anton nodded a little, and left the room.
Lloyd sighed and lay back on the bed, hugging Nathaniel to comfort him. "I'm definitely going to have to talk to my father about him…" He said to Ellis.
Ellis nodded a little. "Yeah."
"He just doesn't care… I don't want someone like him having power in the kingdom."
"I'm sorry."
Lloyd sighed. "Especially if he's constantly making fun of you and Nathaniel… and he won't even own up to his mistakes.'
Ellis shrugged. "What else is new?"
"Well, you know him better than I do… I just hope that he'd be more mature than he is." Lloyd sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
"I, uhm…" he bit his lip a little. "He sometimes is…"
"What does slut mean?" Nathaniel asked tentatively. Lloyd flushed and looked away, unsure what to do. "Oh! U-Um…"
Ellis's eyes widened, his cheeks turning red. "Uhm. Where…did you hear that?"
"Anton said it… that's what he called you." Nathaniel fidgeted nervously. "Is that bad?" Lloyd hesitated a couple seconds. "Um… yeah… let's not say that one again." "But what does it mean?"
"…oh." Ellis replied softly, sitting down and looking at his hands.
"Um… it's… someone who… um…" Lloyd stammered. "Not Ellis. Ellis isn't one. You'll… I'll tell you when you're older…"
Ellis glanced over at Lloyd for a moment.
Nathaniel sighed and crossed his arms. "Fine…" Lloyd breathed a quiet sigh of relief and lay back down.
Ellis took a deep breath.
"Yeah… father and I are gonna have a conversation about Anton. His behavior is totally unacceptable and not befit to a king."
He nodded a little, taking a deep breath.
"I'll see what I can do to get him removed, but… I'd miss you…" Lloyd sighed, glancing up at Ellis.
Ellis nodded a little, looking at his hands. "I…yeah. Me too."
"I just… I feel like we've really become friends and grown close since you've arrived. Maybe they'd let you stay?"
Ellis snorted. "They wouldn't." He replied, shaking his head a little bit.
Lloyd sighed softly. "…Unless I ordered you to, technically speaking…"
