Ellis shuddered a little bit as he calmed down, curled up against Lloyd.

"Are you feeling any better, El?" Lloyd asked gently.
He nodded a little bit. "Yeah…I…I guess so…" He replied softly.
"Can you tell me what he did to you now or do you still not wanna talk about it?" He asked, his voice still soft.
He shook his head. "I-I don't…I'd rather not talk about it…"
Lloyd nodded a bit. "Alright… please tell me when you're ready, though. It'll help build up a case to get him out, I presume."
He nodded a little bit, swallowing softly.
"I'm not gonna let him hurt you anymore, El… I promise."
He was still curled up against Lloyd.
Lloyd sighed and sat with Ellis a while longer, his legs starting to fall asleep.
Ellis eventually moved a little bit, looking up at Lloyd.
Lloyd opened his eyes when Ellis moved and looked down at him. "You okay?"
Ellis shrugged a little bit, seeming fragile in Lloyd's arms.
"Do you mind if I take you with me to talk to my dad? I don't really want to leave you here alone."
Ellis thought for a moment, then nodded a little. "Okay…"
"Alright, just a sec…" Lloyd stood up, waited for the feeling to return to his legs, and then carefully picked up Ellis bridal style.
Ellis wrapped his arms around Lloyd's shoulders, swallowing softly.
Lloyd took off so he wouldn't have to walk and flew towards the throne room, holding Ellis close.
Ellis closed his eyes again, leaning his face into Lloyd's shoulder.
Lloyd went into the throne room and stood before the king. "Father, I wish to speak with you about Anton. I want him removed from the castle immediately."
Ellis was silent, opening his eyes to peek over at the king.
"What is the meaning of this, Lloyd?" The king asked. "He's horribly unfit to be in power! He's been abusing Ellis in more ways than I can tell, he's irresponsible, and he was bullying Nathaniel for his wings as well! He's immature, he doesn't care about anyone but himself, and I want him removed immediately! I refuse to marry him!"
Ellis let out a shaky breath, not saying anything.
The king considered for a few seconds. "Very well. I will have a conversation with Anton and determine his fate." "I want Ellis to stay." "Pardon?" "Ellis stays. He's not safe with Anton." "Very well."
Ellis remained quiet for a moment, then whispered, "Thank you." To Lloyd.
Lloyd nodded and left the room with Ellis still in his arms. "There… that should do it. My father is reasonable and he trusts my judgement."
Ellis nodded a little bit. "Thank you." He said again.
"No problem." Lloyd sighed softly and held Ellis close. "Do you mind if we sit down? I think I'm bleeding."
Ellis's eyes widened. "Oh– of course."
Lloyd slid down to the floor and set Ellis beside himself. "Shit…" He sighed, gently touching a gradually darkening spot on his shirt over his stomach. "Damn thing keeps doing this…"
