He sighed, shaking his head.

"And I'm really struggling not to apologize again right now."
"Lloyd."
"Ellis." He replied, crossing his arms and looking away.
"Just…stop apologizing."
"Okay…" Lloyd fidgeted a bit, staring down at the bed.
He sighed quietly, running his hands through his hair.
"Do you happen to have the time?" Lloyd asked weakly.
"Ah…no. Sorry."
"Alright… I hope Anton isn't too angry with you."
He winced slightly. "I-I…I don't know."
"I hope you're not late for work…"
He nodded a little bit.
"You might want to go just in case."
He nodded again, slipping out of the bed and heading to the door.
"Bye." Lloyd waved to Ellis and lay back down with a sigh.
Ellis waved back, slipping out the door.
Lloyd stared up at the ceiling, his thoughts swirling. His face slowly started flushing as his thoughts turned back to Ellis.
Ellis got to work, hoping he wasn't in trouble.
Lloyd shook his head, trying to clear his mind. I have to talk to my father as soon as possible…
(Soooooo. I have a plan where Anton gets really angry or something and ends up beating and maybe r*ping Ellis and then either Lloyd or Nathaniel finds Ellis and he's crying and bruised and stuff and then we get some good angst. Would you be alright with that?)

A few days later…
Ellis was curled in an empty hallway, his knees to his chest and his back to the wall, his face hidden in his arms as he cried. He tried to keep his noise down, not wanting Anton to find him. Not wanting anyone to see him.
Lloyd was allowed to use crutches to get around now and was roaming the halls. He heard crying and froze, immediately thinking of Nathaniel, but… this sounded like someone else. He headed towards the noise, growing increasingly worried. "Hello? Who's there?"
Ellis froze when he heard Lloyd. He didn't want the prince to see him. Didn't want Lloyd to see the bruises on his face, on his arms. His clothes hid the ones on his body, but he still didn't want Lloyd to see.
Lloyd turned the corner and noticed Ellis. "El? What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, making his way towards Ellis.
