At least there wasn't too much of a divide between the two. Even if Gabe didn't have a body, he could at least still feel Alex, and support him.
The ghost waited some time, lifting his head a bit.
"You feeling ready to get up?"
He sighed faintly, and nodded, standing up and getting dressed.

Gabe stood as well, working on getting ready himself and making sure everything was ready.
He packed up the bag again, tying his hair back.

"Do you think you're ready to face the world yet? Or do we need more time?" Gabe moved over to Alex's side, kissing his temple and wrapping a gentle arm around him.
"I don't know." he said softly, looking up at Gabe.

Gabe nodded, keeping close.
"We'll take our time, then, until you feel more secure."
He nodded faintly. "Okay."

"I lvoe you." Gabe didn't feel like he said it enough. He wanted to make sure Alex never forgot.
"I love you too." he whispered back.

Gabe rested his head lightly on Alex's, giving him a hug.
Alex returned the hug, letting out a faint breaht.

"I know… this might not make the most sense, but you really are the best thing that ever happened to me. The best person to have come into my life." Gabe kept his head on Alex's, looking down at him.
"But…" but Alex had killed him. He frowned a little.

"I know, it might seem ridiculous, but I swear to you I wouldn't take any of this back if it meant not meeting you." Gabe ran his fingers through Alex's hair, still holding him close.
He bit his lip for a moment. "Are…are you sure?" he asked softly.

"I am completely, and totally, sure. I love you, Alex." Gabe kissed Alex's head, pressing his forehead to the man's.
"I love you too." He whispered, closing his eyes tightly and holding onto Gabe.

Gabe ran his fingers through Alex's hair, wrapping his other arm securely around him.
He relaxed slightly, letting out a soft sigh.

"We're going to make the best of this," Gabe promised softly.
He nodded faintly. "We should…get going." he whispered.

Gabe nodded, pulling back from the hug.
"I'll be right here by your side."
He nodded again. "Where am I…what am I doing?" he asked. "I eman…where am I going next?

"You're going to have to get yourself a plot of land," Gabe said softly. "Somewhere that has farmable land."
He nodded a little. "But…I don't know how to farm." he looked up at Gabe with a slight frown.

"I know," Gabe said, taking Alex's hand. "I don't either. But we'll have to learn, if we plan to live here. I'm… well, I'm sure I'll be able to find someone to watch and learn from, and tell you what they do."
He bit his lip faintly, and nodded a little. "Okay." he said softly.

Gabe kissed Alex's cheek.
"We're going to get through this," he promised.
