Gabe hummed, leaning his head on Alex.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex smiled a little bit.

group

Gabe smiled as well, hand in his lover's.
"Mm…"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Let's get into town!" He said, starting to walk again.

group

"Yeah, let's!" Gabe laughed softly, walking as well.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He smiled over at Alex again.

group

Gabe hummed softly, finally letting go of Alex's hand as they returned to civilization.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex sighed faintly, wishing they didn't have to let go in public.

group

Gabe lightly patted Alex's arm, then dropped his hand as he started to see other people. He wished they didn't have to, either.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(gtg soon maybe/probably, sorry)

Alex walked beside him quietly.

group

(Okay!)

Gabe put his hands in his pockets, letting his arms bump lightly against Alex's.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex smiled a little bit at him.

group

Gabe smiled back, heading for the general store first.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex walked with him, still smiling.

group

"Hello?" Gabe said as he moved into the store. He looked over at Alex, offering a smile.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex smiled back. The man behind the counter looked up. "How can I help you gentlemen today?" he asked.

group

"Yes," Gabe said, nodding. "My cousin and I just got our new land, and we need lumber. And work, if there's any to be had."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Ah, I see."

group

"Mm." Gabe wasn't quite sure how to take that, but he chose to be optomistic.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Well, I've got some lumber, and the message board by the door has got all the job postings nearby."

group

"Thank you kindly, sir," Gabe said, ducking his head some in respect. "How much does the lumber run for?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Mm, depends on how much you mean." The man replied, moving out from behind the counter.

group

"Let's say a runner full for now," Gabe said, humming some. He didn't have a runner, but he had his arms.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Alright. Would that be completely finished lumber, or just a rough finish?" The man asked.

group

"Just a rough finish, sir," Gabe confirmed.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Alright. Well, that'll be…lessee here. Full runner of rough finish…" The man's fingers twitched faintly as he did the man. "30 dollars, 35 if you need help loading."

group

Gabe nodded slowly. They had about twenty dollars in total, and they still needed to buy food and tools.
"Thank you, sir, we'll be taking you up on that soon enough."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Yeah, no problem. Let me know if you need anything else." The man replied.

group

"I will, sir." Gabe moved away then, to see the job listings.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alex followed Gabe quietly.
