Alex shrugged a little. "Mm, good. You?"

"Better. And I'm glad you are." Gabe smiled some, looking to the board for jobs he could do.
Alex nodded, looking at the board and reading the different jobs listed.

There weren't many. Mostly just ranch hand positions.
"Mm…"
Alex glanced over at him.

Gabe let out a soft breath.
"Here, this one looks like it pays the most, and doesn't require prior experience."
Alex looked up. "Oh, really? Are you going to apply for it?"

"Mhm," Gabe confirmed. "We need as much money as we can get."
Alex nodded a little. "I'm still looking around."

"Okay, then…" Gabe let out a small breath. He wished he could hug Alex, but they were in public out in the open.
Alex smiled a little at him.

Gabe smiled back, gently bumping shoulders with him. It was discreet enough.
Alex smiled again, happy.

Gabe was glad to see Alex happy, turning to the board again.
"I'll go talk to the poster for the ad later," he finally said, nodding to himself.

Alex took a deep breath. "I'll start asking around for any artists that would be willing to take me on as an assistant or something. I'm not…exactly strong enough for too much physical labor."

"Right, of course. I get that." Gabe offered a smile, gently bumping Alex's shoulder. "Who knows, you might just end up world-famous."
Alex laughed a little bit. "Mm, I doubt that." He replied, smiling softly at Gabe.

Alek smiled a little. "Mm, maybe."

Alex smiled again. "Maybe." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Come on, let's get what we need."
