(Alright! So what's our plan, again?)

(We’re just doing when the servants talk to Cormac, I think. Juliet is probably holed up in the library, reading a book. He could be in the room from before? Maybe with then fire put out, though.)

Cormac shifted on the chair he had been inhabiting for quite a while, yawning. He had a stack of untidy books that he selected when Julie wasn't in the library. He hoped the monsteress wouldn't get too upset…
But he was bored. The books were pleasant and wonderful to read, but after reading seven, it was kind of soul-sucking. He stood slowly, looking around the room as if expecting to get attacked. When he didn't, he creeped across the room and opened the large doors from the sitting room, peering out.

(Don’t Let Juliet heat you call her that, Cormac~! She wouldn’t take well to being called a monster. lol.)

“That’s him; that’s the boy Juliet took in,” a low whisper came from around the corner.

“I wonder what he’s doing out here?” another voice, this one more masculine, wondered from the same place.

They were joined by one last voice, a higher, feminine one. “Maybe he just got bored… We should entertain him!”

(I didn't know what else to call her xD)

Cormac glanced over at the corner, his ears straining. Perhaps he was just hearing things as he stepped tentatively from the room. At least, that's what he hoped. He walked closer to the voices, his eyebrows raised and his heart hammering in his chest.

(Lol. Beastess, Lady of the manor, lady, etc. There’s a lot of you think about it… She’s also technically a princess, too…)

The voices suddenly stopped at the sound of footsteps nearing, then started again. This time, though, they sounded farther away than before. They must have gone down the hall.

“Sh! He’s coming over here!” the first voice hissed.

“That’s not our fault! Plus, why shouldn’t he?” The other female’s voice asked.

“Because… Because… Oh, I don’t know!” the first sighed, the lady sounding exasperated. “Juliet said that we weren’t to talk to him or let him see us…”

Cormac went at a slight jog to try and gain ground. When he reached the corner they had continued arguing. His heart pounded a tattoo on his chest as he peered slowly over the corner, squinting.

(Lol.)

The teapot was wobbling around as he spoke, “Yes, but what if he’s lonely? Surely Her Highness wouldn’t want her hurt to be lonely…”

“Potts is right,” agreed the candelabra as she waved one of her ‘arms.’ “I think we should at least go check on him. Maybe he’s hungry? When was the last time he ate, anyway?”

“You two are ridiculous. This whole situation is ridiculous. I cannot believe that I’m about to say this, though… But maybe you’re right. Maybe we should go check on him,” the clock sighed with a roll of her eyes.

Corkscrew inhaled softly when he set eyes on the pottery, clock, and candelabra. He watched them move and plop around, his eyes somewhat wide. He felt curious, but oddly enough not fear. It looked so strange to see inanimate objects moving around. Perhaps they were affected by the curse set upon them, too? Juliet hadn't mentioned them…

(“Corkscrew” Lol.)

Cogsworth looked up, her eyes widening as they settled on the man in question. She froze, causing the other two to give her a curious look.

“Cogs? What’s wrong?” Lumiere asked, waving her flame in front of the clock’s face.

“Shh! He’s right there,” the other hissed in a whisper.

Lumiere and Mr. Potts paused before turning around slowly. When they caught sight of Cormac, they, too froze.

Cormac tensed slightly when he was found out, his eyes flitting around as if searching for an escape.
"Er… I-I was just… leaving?" He slowly slunk away from the corner, turning over what he just saw in his head. But he didn't walk away. He stayed hidden in the shadow of the wall.

(😂)

“I told you that this was a bad idea!” Cogsworth whispered, glaring at the other two. “Now he knows about us. He could have us all killed, including Juliet, if he thinks we’re a threat.”

“But we’re not a threat, Cogs,” Lumiere reminded her friend after she had turned back around. “And I don’t think he would do that. He doesn’t seem the type. Unlike Her Highness’s previous suitors…”

Cormac heard the scrapes of metal on carpet and slowly went to look at them, careful to hide the rest of his face. He peered over at them child-like, his eyes still somewhat wide as he watched them talk. One seemed very upset that he found them out. He had no intention on hurting them, in fact, just the opposite.

“We could just ask him,” Potts said with what may have been a shrug but really just looked like he was wobbling around again. “He’s still right here.”

Cormac turned a faint red that was visible in the faint light. His fingers curled together as he slowly stepped out from the corner with a burst of bravery. He was a knight, after all.
"I-… I have no intentions on hurting any of you."

Lumiere nodded and gave Cogsworth a pointed look. “See? I told you he didn’t want to do anything to us.”

“All right, all right,” the clock sighed, shaking her head. “Did you need anything, sir? Food, drink, some entertainment?”

Cormac smiled a little and looked around. "Well… I would like all three. I'm kind of bored and hungry. But I don't think you should worry about it. I was just looking for the kitchen," The Knight rambled nervously.

group
@Imperfect_Autumn group

“We can show you to the kitchen! It’s no trouble,” Mr. Potts declared. “If you would just follow us, it’s right down this hallway.”

Cormac nodded and scooted across the hallway to join them, still fiddling awkwardly as he looked down at the objects he towered over. He had no idea why he was so nervous.

The staff hopped toward the kitchen, leading the knight through the hallway. At the end of the hall, after turning a corner to the left, were the double doors to the kitchen.

“Here we are, sir. Is there anything you would prefer?” Potts asked as they hopped through the doors.

Cormac tailed them slowly, looking around the palace to stop himself from staring down at the moving objects. Finally he had a reason to look at the teapot straight-up.
"Oh, no. Just… anything's fine."

Mr. Potts nodded and used his spout to gesture toward the table to the right of the room. “Then pull up a chair, and we shall give you dinner and a show!” he declared as the others chuckled softly.

Cormac glanced around at the chuckling objects and sat down slowly after he pulled out a chair.
"May I ask what type of show…?"
