Suzy smiles brightly, watching him. She seemed to entertained by the most simple of things.

he laughed again, he honestly loved making suzy happy. he sighed to her "do you want to go make art & crafts?"

She gasps and nods, Yes please!

he took her over to a little table and sat down with her, her on his lap "w-what do y-y-you want to m-make?"

She thinks for a moment, Stickers!

"o-ok!" he got the supplies and started drawing a little cat

Suzy smiles and gets to drawing, giggling softly.

"w-w-what are you m-making?"

She points to him, smiling brightly. Just as she moved, there was a little drawing of Benny in the making.

he gasped "i-i l-love it!" he felt really happy inside

Suzy giggles, then goes back to drawing.

he really loved suzy, she was his favorite kid in the daycare, he felt like an older figure for her

Suzy soon finished and showed Benny. “Look!”

"i-i love i-i-it!! w-why don't you put-put i-it o-on me?"

She gasps and nods, carefully cutting out the sticker and placing it on his arm.

he hummed, quite literally like a 90s computer "p-perfect!!"

She giggles, “You like it?”

"i-i love i-it!" he hugged her

She squeals and hugs back, nuzzling into him.

Asani was greeting another kid (I'm naming them Hali) "Hali Storm! I was hoping you'd b-be back. We're making stickers, come join!"

Derik looks at the kids and smiles, offering sticker sheets and markers.

Suzy looks at the kids. “Mr. Mason is not here today! He be back soon though!”

Hali smiled, hugging Asani. "I'm sorry I was gone so long Ani! Lets make stickers. I'll make a birdy, okay?" Hali was smiling, although her entire body seemed burnt and disfigured. She was bald, she must have been in a bad fire a while ago. She's not been there for several months.

Asani smiled, as best she could. "Was it surgery again? did the transplant take?" Asani whispered, not wanting to draw attention. Hali nodded. "Yes to both. I'm going to get a new thumb soon." she whispered back.

Suzy looked confused, “Asani? Wat-what are they saying?”

Asani smiled kindly at Suzy. She signed as she talked, knowing enough. "I'll translate for you, okay? but I'm going to let Hali explain." And Asani signed as Hali spoke. "About a year and a half ago, somebody decided they didn't like our fence, so they set it on fire. The fire spread to my house, while my parents were out on a date. My older brother was in the house with me, and he pulled me out of his bedroom window, trying to save me. I got badly burnt before he did though, and the fall also messed up some parts of me. Its okay though, My brother was alright, he managed to stay out of the worst of the fire. I look kinda funky, right?" Hali smiled.

Suzy giggles and shakes her head and signing as she spoke. “You look fine to me! I think your big brother is a hero though! He must be supper strong!”

Asani was still translating. "He is! he was in his room the entire time, i was trying to get out, but i was badly hurt. He opened the door, even though he might have also gotten burnt, pulled me in, and jumped out the window, bringing me with. He saved me, and called the hospital. He kept me alive. He was in pain himself, the fire had gotten his arm before he could pull me to safety, and i landed right on the same one. It's still paralyzed, but the docters think he'll be able to move it again soon."
