"Farah, please–" Saul began, but she cut him off.
"Leave. Me. Alone."

"Farah, please–" Saul began, but she cut him off.
"Leave. Me. Alone."
Argentum waits patiently for Farah to think all of this through. Waits for her questions, her accusations. . . everything.
group
Despite the growing number of thoughts in her head, one stood out among the others. A question.
"Why me?"
Argentum shrugs. "I don't know. You'd have to track down Qûs'ÿltn's soul and ask him."
group
Farah looked up quickly at that. "How?"
Saul stiffened. "Farah, no."
"How?" she repeated, looking intently at Argentum. "Tell me how."
Argentum instantly regrets his words, but knows it's too late. "Find the doors wrapped 'round and 'round with the love of those you lost."
group
Farah rose to her feet. "What in the Otherworld is that supposed to mean?"
"That's for you to figure out." Argentum murmurs.
"I can't say anything beyond that without breaking my oath." he sighs.
group
Farah exhaled swiftly. "Nothing more?"
"Nothing more." Argentum murmurs. He gets up, lifting Qûs'ÿltn's body up.
"I need to go." he whispers.
group
She nodded slowly. "I understand… thank you."
Argentum disappears in a swirl of mist and light, the body of his son with him.
(So. . . what now, exactly?)
group
(we could timeskip to Farah finding the door thingy)
(Yeah. Let's do that.)
group
(Cool cool)
Farah was panting, but the adrenaline that rushed through her was keeping her going. That and promise. She was nearly there. After weeks of searching, she'd found it. The Underworld door. She pulled out the scrap of paper that had Argentum's message on it and read it aloud.
"Find the doors wrapped 'round and 'round with the love of those you lost."
Qûs'ÿltn is currently hanging around the old jesters he's met, fucking around. He senses farah, and sighs. Gods damn it, Farah and Argentum. . .
group
The door opened, much to Farah's amazement, and she stepped inside. "Qûs'ÿltn?"
Qûs'ÿltn chuckles, and swirls up in front of Farah in his old nonchalant position.
'Sup? he says.
group
Farah threw her arms around him and trembled. "Dear gods, it's really you?"
Qûs'ÿltn chuckles, and hugs Farah back.
Who else would I be? Saul? he snarks.
group
Farah drew back from the embrace quickly to look him in the eyes. "Jealousy doesn't suit you, Qûs'ÿltn."
Qûs'ÿltn looks back steadily.
And heartbreak doesn't suit you. he retorts.
group
Farah stiffened slightly. "What makes you say that?"
Qûs'ÿltn snorts.
Why else would you have come down here? Besides to kick my dead ass, of course. he chuckles.
group
Farah pressed her lips into a smirk. "I told you I needed to yell at you properly…"
Well, I'm right here. Yell away, hun. Qûs'ÿltn snickers.
group
"What the fuck were you thinking?!" Farah demanded, not waiting a second longer. "Why would you go and do such a thing? You… I…" She shook her head. "How could you just leave me so quickly?"
Qûs'ÿltn smirks. That it, hun?
group
Farah narrowed her eyes. "I had more at the moment, but it's been a while since then."
Qûs'ÿltn laughs. Okay. Well, to answer your questions: I was thinking I could save you people from certain death. I left because. . . well, let's just say I've lived a full life.
He pauses. Speaking of the others, how's Saul? You two still a thing?
