Alex gave him a small reassuring small.

Landyn sighed. "Happy birthday. Hope you're having fun," He said crying a little.

Alex lightly wrapped a reassuring arm around his shoulders.

Landyn smiles and stands up placing a hand on the gravestone.

“It was nice getting to visit you ma’am”

"I guess I'll see you sometime soon. I love you." He nods letting Alex know he was ready to leave.

Alex nodded in return and slowly started walking back in the direction they came in case Landyn needed some time alone.

Landyn followed a little behind crying quietly.

Alex slowed down until he was walking next to Landyn again. Just a silent presence, there if he needed him.

Landyn wiped his face on his shoulder.

Alex just continued to walk quietly by him.

Landyn sighed. "S-Sorry for breaking down…"

“Shh, you don't need to be sorry Landyn”

"…" He stops for a second readjusting his crutches wiping his face again. "God I'm a mess."

“Have you met me?” He smiled “we’re both messes, but that’s okay.”

"…" he faked a smile. "Y-Yeah…"

He let the smile pass for now. “We’re gonna be okay, somehow.”

"If you so…"

“I do say so.”

"…Should I walk you home or?" Landyn had no idea what to do now.

“Yeah I guess so…I probably have stuff to catch up on.”

"Alright."

“I’m this way,” he said, pointing in the direction of his apartment.

He nods following him.

He started walking, slow enough to stay next to Landyn.

Landyn slipped but caught himself.

They reached his apartment all too soon. “Well…I guess I’ll see you later.”

"Yeah…S-See ya…" Landyn said waiving and turning around and heading to his house.

Alex walked up the stairs fearfully, Alex had seen him when they stopped at the building. Alex knew he was up there waiting for him.

Landyn stopped and sat on the sidewalk. "Jesus…I'm such a mess…"
