"…" he looked away.

He kept humming quietly, his voice catching slightly.

"…Did I do something wrong?"

“I…I just want you to be happy…”

"…I feel like…I was too harsh…"

“W-What do you mean?”

"Never mind…"

He opened his mouth in protest but stayed silent.

He sits up. "I-I love you…"

He just stared at his hands which were folded in his lap.

Landyn was scared. "A-Alex…"

“I just want you to be happy” he repeated quietly.

"I-I know…And I am…As long as I'm with you…"

He looked at him, tears in his eyes.

"I mean it. I love you."

“I just….I want you to actually feel happy about yourself….”

"…We could try."

“What do you mean?”

"I just need help."

“O-okay…”

He kisses his cheek.

He leaned against him, suddenly just not okay.

"I-I should leave you alone…I'm making it worse…"

He didn’t really say or do anything in protest or in agreement.

He gets up. "…"

He whimpered slightly.

He looked at him. "U-Uh…"

He held out his hand, beckoning for him to come back.

He sits back down.

He lay his head down in Landyn’s lap, just silently crying for no apparent reason.
