"A-Alex?"

“This happens sometimes….I’ll be fine” he responds so quietly you can barely hear him.

"O-Ok…:

“I’m just…so scared….what if he finds you?”

"I'll be fine love."

He let out a choked sob “b-but you won’t be fine and it’ll all be my fault….”

"No, it won't."

“I-I can’t let him hurt you….you’re all I have left….”

"He won't."

Alex curled into him, now violently shaking. He just wanted to get his point across but he didn’t know how. He sometimes just had these breakdowns where nothing made sense anymore.

Landyn pets his head, "I'm here…"

He took in a shaky breath. “I-I’m okay….I’m okay” he sounded like he was trying to convince them both.

"No, you're not…"

“I will be…..”

"But you're not right now."

He fell silent.

Landyn kisses his cheek. "I'm here for you…I promise."

“…….thanks”

"…" Landyn hugged him tightly. He didn't want to let go anytime soon.

He was slowly calming down.

He continued to pet his head

“I’m okay….just a random panic attack….”

"We're going to sit here until it's gone completely."

“Fine….”

He smiles softly

He kissed his cheek lightly.

"I love you. Don't forget that." He nuzzles his cheek.

“I know…I just want you to be safe….”

"I understand that."

“I don’t think he’ll find us though….at least I hope not….”
