Jami's brow furrowed, and she didn't answer immediately. "Whatever happens, I want to do it with you," She said eventually. "As long as your here, everything seems fine."
Gone // One-On-One // CLOSED
He nodded and looked at the ring on her hand before looking out over the city, admiring to beautiful view and not saying anything.
"This is the place I used to come when I needed a break," She said softly. "Many a night has been spent under the stars. And I'm the only one who can get up here safely, cause of my powers."
"I suppose I'll have to find a way to get up here then, if you don't mind that is" He said, smiling lightly and squeezing her a little tighter.
A few tears rolled down Jami's cheeks as she remembered her past. She wished she could go back and have a better relationship with her brother, but now he was gone.
Sebastian saw the tears and he moved one of his hands from around her, gently wiping away the tears and hugging her tighter, "What are you thinking about?" He asked gently.
"Everything," Jami said softly. "I wish I could go back and have a better relationship with Noah, but now he's gone and I can't."
"Do you still see his spirit?" He asked, doing his very best to comfort her and keep her safe in his arms.
"Yeah, I can see him right now," Jami replied, being able to see the faint blue glow out of the corner of her eye. "He looks just the same as ever. Nothing's changed."
"Can you talk to him and try to figure something out between the two of you? He probably knows that you wanted to have a better relationship with him, maybe something can be figure out." He suggested, nodding slightly.
"We've….already talked. But there's a difference between having a relationship with him when he's dead and then when he's alive," Jami said, looking at Noah.
He nodded, "But having a relationship when he's dead is better than not having one at all, isn't it?"
"I suppose, but it's still different," She replied. She sighed. "At least he's willing to have a good relationship."
"That's always good," He said, looking around to see if he could spot him even though he knew he couldn't.
Jami could tell what he was doing. "You can't see him, Seb. Even if he wanted you to see him. You can't see spirits."
He sighed and nodded, "I know, I was just thinking maybe I could see him, did you tell him about the test?" He asked, looking at her and then out at the city.
"I think he already knows." She looked at Noah, and he had a knowing look on his face. He sat down next to the couple, but kept his distance.
Sebastian nodded again and smiled lightly, laying his head on Jami's shoulder, "Are we going to sit here all night?"
"Not all night, it might rain. And also spirits are more active at night, so I always try to stay indoors."
"Should we go inside now then?" He asked, shifting around and wondering how he was going to get back down with the jewelry box again.
Jami nodded. "I'll get you down with my magic, if that makes you feel better."
He smiled lightly, "Thanks," he said, picking up the jewelry box and unwrapping his arm from around her shoulder as he scooted towards the edge of the roof.
She smiled at his awkwardness as she stood up. She picked him up with her magic and guided him down back into her room, before she lifted herself into the same location.
"Thanks again," He smiled at her and walked to put the box back, setting it down before walking back to her and giving her a small kiss on the forehead.
"Sorry again about before. I hadn't thought of a way to tell you about the pregnancy so I'd resorted to not telling you. And then you found the test."
He shook his head, "It's fine, you don't need to apologise." A light smile appeared on his face, "I'm just happy that you weren't mad when I found the test."
"I'm just happy you weren't mad when you found the test."
"Why would I be mad?" He asked with a slight smile, "I was and still am ecstatic about it."
"I didn't tell you about my pregnancy, and you found out like this. I don't know, most people wouldn't react like you did."
He nodded and smiled again softly, placing another kiss on her forehead, "I'm not mad about you not telling me, to know that you're pregnant is a big thing and I would think it would be scary to tell your significant other. I don't know how other people react but they're stupid."
