"Jamie, over here. I think she locked herself in though." Jace answers. Evanna hears the voice of her Scottish crush.

Jamie raced over. “Alohomora!” she whispered and the door opened. Jamie burst in and enveloped Evans in a hug. “Are you okay?” she asked worriedly.

“I, I guess. Now Jules has embarrassed me in front of Jace.” Evanna says between sobs.

“Hey. Hey, look.” Jamie pulled away from the hug and revealed Jace standing in the doorway of the compartment.

“Jamie, Jamie what is Jace doing here?!” Evanna sequeled under her breath turning bright crimson. Jace looked at Evanna and flashed her a sheepish smile.

Jamie leaned forward to whisper in her sister’s ear, “He’s here because he likes you. Now talk to him!”

“He..he likes me?! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! What if he asks me to Hogsmeade?!” Evanna said freaking out, a little too loud. Jace heard her and chuckled.

Jamie giggled. "Calm down, girl! Just, talk to him." She stood up to leave the compartment giving Jace a playful wink as she left.

"H..hi Jace." Evanna said nervously, watching Jamie walk away. "Hey Evanna. Are you alright? I wish I could have done more at that moment, I didn't know how to, I feel truly awful." Jace said hanging his head. "Don't worry Jace, I'm okay. I'm used to the harshness of girls like Jules." Evanna said. Jace sits down next to Evanna, taking her hand.

Jamie walked back to her compartment where Rochelle and Madeline were waiting.
"Well?" Rochelle asked.
"It's all good," Jamie replied happily.

"I've been a bad friend Evanna. I didn't write to you all summer. I guess I've just, I've just been trying to figure out how to tell you." Jace says, licking his lips a little. "You've been trying to figure out how to tell me what?" Evanna asked, hesitantly. "I'm bloody mad for ya, Evanna. I have been since first year. I was just too nervous to tell ya." Jace said, his freckles being slightly hidden by a light crimson crawling over his face.

Madeline sighed. "Who's looking forward to Divination this year?"
The compartment was dead silent. All 3 girls burst into simultaneous laughter.

"Y..you, you like me?" Evanna asked, the crimson creeping even more over her face.

"But seriously, Transfiguration? I'm so excited," Jamie squealed.

"Yes I like you, Evanna." Jace said. "I like you too Jace." Evanna squeaked.

“I know! McGonagall’s end of the term speech last year makes me so excited!!!” Madeline chirped.

"For real?" Jace questioned. "Yes for real." Evanna replied.

"Oh, what about Charms this year?" Rochelle added.

"Oh No!" Evanna screamed. "What is it?" Jace asked. "My Niffler, I left him alone in a compartment, I'll be back, I have to go find Jamie!" Evanna runs out of the compartment, Jace on her tail. "Jamie! Jamie where are you?!" Evanna yelled.

Jamie perked up. She opened the compartment door as Evanna came running by. "What's the rush?" she asked with a grin.

"I left Nugget alone. I don't know where he is!" Evanna yelled in a panicked voice.

“Where was the last place you remember having him?” Jamie asked, trying to calm her sister down.

“I left my carry on bag with him inside in the compartment with Jace and I went to get a book but then Jules came and I left the bag unzipped.” Evanna explained, crying.

“Calm down, he’s still on the train, right? We’ll find him.”

"I think.. I mean but you know he's a little kleptomaniac. Who knows what he's stolen already!" Evanna says holding back more tears.

Jamie took her sister’s shoulders, disrupting Nemo. “Sorry, Nemo,” she acknowledged. “Evanna, he’s on this train, okay? We. Will. Find. Him. Will he come to you if you call? I know you’ve been practicing that…”

"He didn't listen the last time. I don't know what to do." Evanna exclaimed.

"Why don't you try?" Jamie encouraged.
