"It's not just your worldβ¦" Rainbow agreed in a mutter, resting one hand on her cheek with a scowl, staring into the water. A couple seconds later she shook her head and pushed her anger away, trying to stay calm.

Mallory giggled and glanced at Jake before talking back to Anna. 'Yeah but he's still cute.' She smirked a bit to see her reaction.

The young man at the spring had not heard Rainbow and the figure vanished inside of the boy. He stood and stretched a bit before spotting the woman "Oh hello there didn't see you there."
Mal smiled back and booped her nose. 'Sure thing.' She laughed a bit again and turned to look at Jake.

Rainbow took a deep breath and responded "No, it's alright. I just overheard what you said about how people suck⦠and I couldn't agree more." Confessing this seemed to help her a little.
But she was polite enough to not ask about whatever paranormal/magical being he was talking to, despite being interested.
He stopped and turned back "Yeah even other humans can figure that out." Jake chuckled a bit

She, surprisingly, didn't react all that much, only quipping "Neat."
"Rare pair of extremists, you say?" She raised an eyebrow, "That's nothing." Rainbow chuckled, crossing her legs.
"I like this one." Jeff commented
"You must be new here. it's nice to meet you. What's your name?" Jake asked, his eyes glowed a lamp shade of yellow instead of his ash grey as he looked her over.
Mallory looked back to Anna with a thought. 'We are headed to get food right? '
'yep sure are' she responded as she skipped a little, still holding Mal's hand
She smiled and gave her head a pat. 'Alright cool'. She took a deep breath and let the silence fill her thoughts, trying not to think of⦠Cedric⦠She may as well just burst into tears, it was going to happen at some point. But she decided not now- maybe when she got some alone time?
Anna felt itβ¦loss. Anna was well acquainted with that as well as her sister had been lost to this stupid war. It wasn't fair that people were dying for this. She didn't understand why death wasn't easiest thing to avoid in this war. Nor did Anna know how strong she was, she felt she was too weak to save her sister. She sniffled a bit as they all walked. 'I miss you Rose.' was the only thought in her head
