Mallory didn't dare speak above a whisper. She didn't know these people, yet knew their thoughts. She heard them echoing in her head. She looked at Haven and telepathically sent a simple message to him. 'What now?'

I look up at the man in some fear. "who is this?"
"Keep calm and follow us for now, we'll get you two rooms in a little while." I responded as a taller lighter toned African american man came from down a side hall
"Tempest get him here, is the girl hurt too?" his voice was deep but calming

Jake then looks to the side and tiredly tries to stand. " is there any food here?"
I looked at the man and shook my head. "I'm alright, I don't need any medical attention."
"You can get food after we patch you up." the man in scrubs said, his voice stern and with a little hint of his African descent as he gently took Jake by the shoulder and started to steer him where he had emerged from. I followed close behind meaning for Mal to as well.

I followed in silence trying to keep up with Temp. I studied him for the first time sense we met. I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I found another one like me. Maybe like Cedric, but I don't know if I could handle it. Him being my twin and all. Even thinking of him gets me all teary eyed…

Charlie lifted Jake easily and put him on a those paper covered spots that one would sit at during a normal doctor visit. He quickly patched up the head wound and treated the burns with a goopy feeling gel "There will be heavy scarring. I'm sorry about that…you're lucky to have been found by these two." He took a small golden square from his scrubs pocket "Eat this please, it's important you do if you want to speed up healing."

Eats the square ,slightly gags at the sour foul taste.
While the taste was unpleasant, the strength returning to his limbs certainly wasn't.
"Is he gonna be okay Doc?" I asked
"I do believe so, he was just roughed up compared to how Zera came in last month."

Just then, a quiet creak came from the roof, and as the cabin was in bad condition, sawdust sprinkled down ominously. Something was up there, and it was very unlikely to be a raccoon, maybe a big one?? (Even then it would still be a problem.)
As the young woman was checking the outside she looked up at the roof of the cabin "What the hell is that?" She wondered out loud as she unclipped her handgun from her holster

Everything went quiet for a moment before something stabbed right through the wood, the weapon retreated before it reappeared on the other side, causing chips of roof to fall off.
Mallory wiped her eyes and tried to push away the thoughts. "Y-yeah, it doesn't look good." She said looking up at Jake.
She screamed when this happened. She literally wasn't able to stop herself. "What the hell was that???"

She was in a daze, then looked back at Jake. She tried to ignore the fact he was shirtless, but it was rather hard. "What?" She asked him sort of snappishly.

She felt something hit the pit of her stomach. "Well I'm freaking out because of the blade that just came out of nowhere. " She said trying to avoid his question.

"alright, " Jake lays down on the mat and attempts to sleepon his stomache feeling the pain of the burn still on his back, his tattoo of a odd language on his shoulders.
"What are you doing!? We're being attacked and you're just sleeping!?" She cried watching him get comfortable.

And with one stomp, a hole was formed, the leftover wood crumbled down, caring a figure on its back, though concealing them behind a cloud of dust.
They waved it away quickly, Revealing pitch black skin that had a slight tint of purple, their long curly hair was the complete opposite and was an aquamarine blue decorated with swirls of pink which covered her eyes, her clothes were a lighter purple. They were holding a double-sided spear; the one that had easily went through the cabin, and they stood tall at a 6'4. But despite their menacing appearance and aggressive breathing, they looked banging up and were putting a lot of weight on their weapon.
Mallory was shocked and backed up, tripping over some rubble on the ground. She fell back onto her back and looked up at the figure.

They looked up and shook their hair out of their face, revealing their lavender eyes that stared sharper than their spear and they had something on their left shoulder, it looked like some sort of large jewel with greens and blacks and pinks and many other colors.
Mallory panicked and pushed herself further and further away from the figure. 'I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die!' Her thoughts echoed as she hit the wall, having moved away as far as she could.

But instead of attacking, they stood up as straight as they could and looked around the room.
"Oh, it's just a native." The stranger said, snapping a finger and removing the blades of the spear in a puff of light. "They're of no danger to us." They stared down at Mallory, making a face of what looked to be sympathetic, as best as this strange scowling woman could make, though it came out looking testy.
