Cameron inhaled deeply and nodded. “He helped me get in. He’s the reason my sisters are alive.”
Cameron nodded again. “He was the husband to the woman who made it.” He had no idea how he was staying calm in the situation. Perhaps it was Casey.
(It’s fine)
Cameron sighed deeply. “Yesterday. Last night.”

(How should I hop in?)
Cameron couldn’t open his eyes to look at her. He kept them shut but his mouth moving.
“He just… got killed. Literally.”
Cameron nodded slowly. “I’ll be back in check. Soon. I will be ready for tomorrow.”
Cameron inhaled deeply and opened his eyes. “Y-yes. I’ll be fine by then. I’ll get myself together.”

(that delete button is NOT in a convenient spot.)
(Lmao I’ve done that before. Also yeah the button is really inconvenient…)
Cameron looked down at the vent. “I… maybe.” He wasn’t accustomed to telling people how weak he was. He was built to hide it away.
Cameron shook his head. “I can’t promise that, Casey. It wouldn’t be true to me and my person.”
Casey dragged her hand over her face. "Cameron. . . . " She understood where he was coming from. She understood the need to hide your weakness because it could kill you. That didn't mean it made her any less exasperated. She pinched the bridge of her nose, closing her eyes. "I can't . . . have you getting killed because something is going on. I can't." Casey kept her eyes closed.
Cameron shook his head quickly, his gaze still on the ground. “This won’t hurt me. It won’t get me killed. I promise.” He shut his eyes again. No matter how much he wanted it to, it couldn’t. Too many people depended on him.
Sol was now eating two large cheese pizzas by herself on a couch. She had turned the TV on and was watching Supernatural on it.
