Cameron shook his head quickly, his gaze still on the ground. “This won’t hurt me. It won’t get me killed. I promise.” He shut his eyes again. No matter how much he wanted it to, it couldn’t. Too many people depended on him.
“Alright,” Casey said, standing up. “Alright. It’s getting a bit late,” she said, “you should try and go to bed. I’m doing the same.”
Cameron shut his eyes. “I have a few things to do tonight. I’ll just stay up here.”
Cameron nodded slowly. “Eventually,” He answered with a sigh.
(I didn’t even notice)
Cameron shrugged. “Just on a contract.” He had been hired to take care of Flax’s contracts for a better pay.
Cameron didn’t turn back to look at her. He just nodded curtly, biting his tongue as he watched the sun go down.
"How'd it go?" Sol asked without looking up from the TV. "Does the edgy potato have good reason for being an edgy potato?"
"Angsty sonic oc… Or Undertale…" Lane murmured, looking up from his laptop when Casey entered. He quickly closed off the tab he was on, can't have his boss looking at that.
"Listen, he's my friend and I love the guy, but Cam should just talk to us every once in a while," Sol commented before taking a bite of a pizza slice.
Luca strolled into the room, fresh out of the shower as her hair was still wet. She said nothing, but raised her brows at Casey as she plopped herself on the couch. Question still in her stormy eyes, she snagged a piece of pizza from Sol, and took a bite.

"What the fuck, give that back these are all mine." Sol raised up a hand to paw at Luca's arm, but didn't actually move from her spot.

Sol glanced to Casey, then dropped her slice back into the cardboard it had arrived in. She glared at Luca, warning her to not touch her pizza again, then went to follow beside Casey. "What's up?"

Still texting on her phone, Casey said, "I just got info on where the meeting will be. One of the warehouses a few blocks down. I had the place scoped out and there are a few places you could hide, including the rafters and a small loft area, though that is cramped. I'm texting you the address. We're meeting at ten o'clock, I'd like you to go there early tomorrow and wait there. Bring a gun."
Sol glanced to Casey, then dropped her slice back into the cardboard it had arrived in. She glared at Luca, warning her to not touch her pizza again, then went to follow beside Casey. "What's up?"
Luca reached over and snagged another piece of pizza as soon as Sol's back was turned. She smirked at their retreating forms before disappearing into her room again. If she was going to do her job right, she had to focus and pizza always helped.
Lane stood up, grabbing the box of pizza and his laptop, walking towards the room he's claimed as his own. He yawned, sitting down at his desk.
Sol nodded. "Okay, got it." She turned around only to see a room empty of pizza and friends. "THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH MY PIZZA YOU DIPSHITS?" She stomped off to the rooms to fight.
Luca rolled over in bed at the sound of Sol's angry burst. Muffled laughter could be heard coming from her room.
