Colby glances at King and offers a tired smile. "I'm alright. Not that hungry at the moment." He presses a kiss to Kings forehead before settling beside him. "I love you." He murmured softly, keeping a careful eye on King. "Don't strain yourself, okay? Just focus on patching up."
"I'll try not to," King gave the non-committal response, he wouldn't be going out to fight villains, but he couldn't sit still either. He leaned a little against Colby as he ate out of habit and to take some of the pressure off of his body, "Love you too."
Colby moved a little so that King could lean against him comfortably, pressing a soft kiss to the top of his head. "Good. You should be trying to take care of yourself…" He murmured quietly. He was certainly one to talk, but right now his focus was King. He played with King's hair as he tried to clear his head of other thoughts and just focus on taking care of his family right now.

King let out a slight hum before glancing up at Colby. The other was just as bad about taking care of himself as King is, "You should too. Take care of yourself I mean."

He glances at the other and nods a little, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Okay… I'll try." He whispers quietly. He knew he needed to take care of himself but he just felt so anxious about everything happening.
"Good," King gave a slight nod and went back to eating his food. He needed Colby to be okay before King could be okay, but he knew the sam was true for Colby.
Colby nods and shuts his eyes in content, glad that was settled. He started to doze, only slightly though. It was in the realm between awake and asleep.
King glanced over at Colby seing the other slowly falling asleep and decided not to mention or doing anything about it. It was probably best if King let Colby sleep anyways.
Colby didn't move for a little while, just peacefully snoozing. Pax came down at one point and smiled, glad to see his brother was sleeping well. He grabbed some food and water before heading back upstairs to let them be.
King was still awake when Pax came down though he was also starting to doze not wanting to risk disturbing Colby. He gave Pax a smile but fell asleep soon after.
Pax smiled a little bit at King and his older brother, glad to see the two of them were okay. Colby had curled up a little on the couch to keep warm.
King was tired and hurt and Colby was warm so he began to gravitate towards his boyfriend. As one naturally would.
Colby curled around King at some point, arms around King and tucking King under his chin. He nuzzled into King's hair and relaxed again.
King melted into Colby's embrace allowing himself to be completely curled up by Colby.

If you asked King how could things get better, he would tell you they couldn't. Worse on the other hand was a completely different story. He had awoken what felt like hours before Colby to a call from his dad giving him bad news about his mom. It completely knocked the wind out of sails. That and the cities villains becoming more and more aggressive along with an increase of numbers overall, King, King didn't know what to do. Which lead to now with King sitting silently on the roof of Colby's house trying to get his act together before the brothers woke up.
Colby woke up to a cold space on his bed, and something felt very wrong. He slowly sat up, his eyes scanning the still dark room. He slipped out of bed and moved through out the house, inhaling sharply when he couldn't find King. He finally made it to the roof, hesitating when he saw King sitting on the roof. He paused before slowly hauling himself up and moving beside King. "Hey there…" He murmured softly, settling beside the other. "Are you okay?" He asks, settling his hand on King's.
