@Fraust

"Cool, thanks…" Lloyd yawned a bit, his grip on Irene weakening.

"Are you tired? I could go for a nap myself." Irene also yawned after Lloyd.

@Fraust

"Mhmm… I'm always tired." Lloyd reluctantly pulled away and looked for his blanket from before.

Irene slowly sat up and looked around for her blanket as well. She got off the couch and grabbed when she did find it. She crawled back on the couch wrapped in her blanket and fell asleep very quickly.

@Fraust

Lloyd found his blanket too and became a burrito again, gradually falling asleep.

(Ye)
After about 2 or 3 hours, Irene woke up. It was later in the afternoon around the time her father should be back home. She looked around and stretched. She realized the time and looked to see if her father was back yet, but he wasn't. Eh, he must be taking his time…

@Fraust

Lloyd was still laying down on the couch, asleep. His black eye seemed to be getting worse.

Irene went back to the living room and saw Lloyd fast asleep. She then noticed his black eye, it was worse than before. I really should do something about that, but I don't want to wake him up… I'll wait until he's awake…

@Fraust

After about ten minutes, Lloyd stirred and yawned, glancing around tiredly.

Irene looked over to Lloyd. "Oh hi. How did you sleep?"

@Fraust

"Fine, I think…" He yawned again, pushing a bit of his hair back and wincing when his hand brushed his black eye.

"Oh yeah, your black eye looks like it got worse… should I get some more ice?" Irene stood up.

@Fraust

"Sure, if it's not too much trouble…" Lloyd held one hand to his eye.

Irene quickly went to the kitchen and got some ice. She ran it back to the living room and gave it to Lloyd. "Here you go."

@Fraust

"Thanks…" Lloyd held the ice up to his eye, again flinching from its cold touch. "Hopefully it'll be better by school tomorrow…"

Irene nodded. "Yeah… I honestly forgot all about going to school… I think we should talk to the principal instead of just a teacher."

@Fraust

"Probably, yeah." Lloyd yawned again, still holding the ice to his eye. "Is your dad back yet?"

"Nope, not yet… but he should be soon." Actually he should have gotten here as early as an hour ago…

@Fraust

"Okay… I hope he's not too upset." Lloyd glanced over at the door.

He won't even care, he got to be with mother alone… "He probably won't be, it's been a while, he probably cooled down." Irene looked down at her fingers as they were subconsciously fiddling.

@Fraust

Lloyd nodded, noticing Irene's fidgeting. "You okay, Rea?"

Irene immediately stopped. "Uh.. yeah I'm good… why?" Awe no… he's gonna start worrying about me or something…

@Fraust

"You're fidgeting, which means you're anxious about something. What's wrong?" Lloyd looked up at Irene with his good eye.

"What? No… not at all, why would I be fidgeting?" Irene lied down and looked up at the ceiling to avoid eye contact.

@Fraust

"Rea… I've done my fair share of lying about being okay. What's up?" Lloyd watched her closely.

"I just… my father… we are usually home an hour ago… and he isn't home yet…" Irene sighed. "I just hope he's okay."

@Fraust

Lloyd nodded. "I'm sure he's alright… hopefully he'll be back soon."

"Yeah…" Irene pulled out her phone and noticed 3 unread texts, all from her father. She glanced over to Lloyd then quickly back to her phone. She read the three messages and bolted up to the landline phone that can call her mother. After a few rings, the phone picks up. "Hello? Hi mother… is everything okay?" Irene let out a relieved sigh. "Okay, great… yeah… bye-bye." She walked back to the couch and sat down.

@Fraust

"Who was that? Was it your father? What did he say? Sorry, I'm asking too many questions…" Lloyd looked up again as Irene returned.

"It was my mother. I thought it best to call her instead of my father… My parents are stuck there for a while. My father sent me a few texts saying that he had been followed to my mother's house by the FSB… and they are surrounding the house. My mother has a special hideout in case of this very scenario… She keeps the phone in there…" Irene sat up and leaned against the couch, still looking at the celling.
