"See? You'll be okay. And besides if she does anything to bad you can just have her beheaded. It would completely ruin relations between Obdin and where you live so that's some things you have to weigh. But I trust everything will be okay." He then leaned over and kissed Marius's cheek, and held his hand softly as he sat down beneath a tree, and stared at the moon.
Marius hummed a bit and nodded, reaching up to try and grab an apple from a tree. He huffed upon finding that he was far too short to reach it. "Evaaaan! I require your tallness!" He kept his eyes on the apple, his hands on the trunk of the tree.
"I'm coming my short grumpy cutie." He walked over and picked up Marius, putting him on his shoulders. "You're so adorable." He said with a wide grin, knowing that Marius would get pouty and angry about his nicknames, only making him cuter in Evans eyes.
Marius huffed a bit as he pulled the apple down from the tree and took a bite of it, staying on Evan's shoulders for now. "Am not… I'm just short and I can't reach the things." He glanced around from where he was sitting, seeming to enjoy feeling tall for once.
"Am too. Deal with it. Do you want down?" He asked, looking up at Marius, beaming up at him with a wide smile. "I quite like the view from down here. Staring at you forever would be a dream come true." He grinned. "I'd kiss your nose but you'd have to lean down to let me do that."
"I'll stay up here for a bit…" Marius rested his head on the top of Evan's, loosely wrapping his arms around the other's neck. "You're such a sap, honestly… you're hopeless." He huffed, burying his flushed face in Evan's hair.
"I'm just in love Marius. A hopeless romantic. A sapfull fool. You can't blame me with eyes like those, and lips soft as feathers. Would you like me to stop? I can return to my usual cold,stoic, and studious nature if you'd prefer." He said, as he reached up and pet Marius a bit, carefully sitting down on a bench.
"Mm… I like the attention, if I'm being honest. It can be a lot sometimes, though…" Marius purred softly at the petting, his tail brushing against Evan's back as he swayed it. "How long can we stay out here?" He asked.
"I have no clue. Until everyone yells for us?" He said as he continued to pet Marius softly, enjoying the softness of his hair. "I'm glad I was your true loves kiss. That I broke the spell. The future will be interesting though."
"Mm… yeah. Definitely complicates things, though." Marius sighed as he nuzzled against Evan. "Falling in love isn't exactly something that I'm supposed to do… especially not with another man, or someone other than the person I'm forced to marry."
"I know. But if you didn't, you'd have to hide your handsome face forever, and I would personally hate that." He shrugged and grabbed Marius hand, and kissed his knuckles softly. "I'll always consider myself forever yours, and forever married to you. I'll even tell others I'm married. Not to you of course, but. Nonetheless. I am with you forever Marius."
Marius hesitated before smiling a bit, the smile only barely visible before he hid his face again. "Mm… thanks, then. Good to know you won't be sleeping around or anything…" He laughed weakly. "I'll spend as much time with you as I can."
"And I'll make sure that I am with Marianna as much as possible." He smiled. "You have a handsome smile my love." He said gently. He began to hum softly, and relaxed. "If I walk with you on my shoulders on the way back, will you come down here and cuddle for a little bit?"
"Mmm… I guess so…" Marius carefully climbed down from Evan's shoulders and settled himself in the other's lap, tucking his head under his chin. He glanced out at the sunset, allowing himself to relax in Evan's arms.
"What do you not like my snuggles?" He said in teasing tones, kissing Marius's cheek a few times. He pulled him closer, and nuzzled his head, returning to petting him. (Isn't it already dark?) He returned to his humming. "I think we should head back soon after our cuddles. Marianna will wonder why I'm not in my room in a little while."

"Mm… they're fine, you can just be a lot." Marius whined softly when Evan kissed him repeatedly. "I'm not exactly used to physical affection. I don't generally allow people to be close enough to me to actually give me this much attention. It's kinda overwhelming sometimes…" He curled up a bit more in Evan's lap.

"I don't mean to be a lot. Yet again. I apologize. And shush with your whining. Keep in mind soon enough I won't even be able to give you a hug most days, and you'll miss it. I'm trying to give you the most I can before time runs out." He pet Marius softly, liking the sounds of his purrs.

Marius closed his eyes and turned his head away a bit, not wanting to think about Evan having to be gone. He was trying to stay relaxed and enjoy the petting, but he was clearly a bit tense and uneasy. "Y-Yeah, but… still…"
"I know sugar I know. It'll be okay. I'm just trying to give you all that I can." He sighed as he kissed Marius sweetly, and held him tightly. He was happy just to be here, and dreading the wedding that was too come. "I'll always be here Marius. I love you after all. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
"Mm…" Marius relaxed a bit into the kiss, huddling up tighter in Evan's arms. "I just wish you could be around more often after I have to marry Marianna… she's gonna keep you busy on purpose so we don't get to see each other as much."
"I'll try my best. I promise. Okay? You have my word dear." He kisses Marius's nose with a smile. "And I will make sure you come with me as much as you can as well." He said as he kissed Marius's neck a bit.
Marius shivered and nuzzled against Evan affectionately, keeping his eyes closed for the time being. "I hate that I have to marry her… I don't… I don't wanna get married, especially not to her…" He sighed heavily. "I can't stand her."
"We could've been married, if you were in Obdin and not here. Sadly the world is not as open minded as my home is." He sighed as he cradled Marius in his arms,humming softly as he held him. "Would you ever marry me Marius?" He said softly.
Marius flushed a bit as he considered, fidgeting with his hands. "Uhm… y-yeah, I think so… I'd rather marry you than Marianna by a long shot…" He sighed softly. "I mean, with the whole 'true love' thing or whatever paired with me actually enjoying your company… you know…"
"Awwww. I love you too, My Prince." He continued to gently kiss Marius's neck, just a little, trying really hard to not overwhelm him with his kisses. "I'd gladly marry you, in a heartbeat. If only we could…I don't think your parents would very much agree nor like that at all though, which is sad."
Marius sighed and nodded, burying his red face in Evan's chest to give himself a break from all the affection. "Yeah… they're not quite as tolerant as your mother is, unfortunately. Very conservative and stuff… they just want me to do everything they ask."

"Well of course. You're parents I'm surprised tolerate Marianna the way they do. If only more of my sisters were blood related. You could've married Rain who is quiet and dances ballet and plays the violin, or Starla who likes the stars as much as you do, and does parkour and has a taste for adventure. But alas. That is not the case. You have to marry Marianna, where even people all the way across the world can hear her whispers." He shook his head. "But again. I will always love you and be by your side."
Marius sighed softly. "Hopefully I won't be expected to spend too much time with her… I-I mean, I know I'll be expected to produce an heir and impregnate her, but… I don't want to be around her more than I absolutely have to." He shifted around a bit to get more comfortable.
Evan nodded. "Of course. I kinda wish she couldn't bear children so then you'd have to adopt or something, then things would be easier. But without her, you wouldn't have met me yet again. Fate works in many a strange way."
