Marius shoved the rest of the sausages in his mouth and rolled his eyes at Evan's second comment. He flushed a bit at the last, considering. "Um… I guess I could bite you. If you wanted me to, anyway… it just might hurt a bit."

"What-no. Love, I'm just trying to best accommodate to you. And honestly it'd probably turn me on." He kissed Marius's cheek. "Just enjoy your food and don't worry about it love." He sighed and rocked Marius in his arms a bit, just enjoying the way Marius felt in his hold.

"Oh… okay." Marius kept eating, yawning a bit as he huddled up with Evan. "Where are we gonna meet when Marianna and I are married?" He asked. "She probably won't want to let us spend time together, you know…"

He laughed. "In the library, whenever you have questions. That's where I'll be spending most of my time." He kissed Marius's cheek. "There and in the town. I love spending time in foreign towns." He sighed and shrugged. "And Marianna can't completely control you so. Slip away and see me as you please just don't make it obvious we're lovers."

Marius nodded a bit. "I'll probably mostly see you in the library… I don't like going out into the town." He rested his head on Evan's shoulder and nuzzled into his neck, purring softly. "I'm sure you remember that, though. I just hope we can hide it well enough. As you can probably expect, I'm not used to forbidden romances or anything."

"Oh I think it's only a matter of time before they find out. Let's just hope things turn out good when they do." He shook his head and kissed Marius all over his cheek, soft little kisses, as he began to pet Marius. "I sure do love you and your purrs. So cute, and sugary sweet." He said with a chuckle.

"Am not…" Marius huffed a bit and looked away, flushing when Evan started smothering him with kisses. "You're so mean to me." He settled himself more comfortably in the other's lap and yawned again, exposing his sharp teeth. "Marianna's gonna just have to deal with us being together…"

"Yes so mean. Me kissing, complimenting AND cuddling you is oh so cruel!" He teased with a smile, and kissed the other cheek with just as many soft little kisses, and nuzzled into Marius. "And you are too. So don't give me any of that Mr. Pouty. Pouting and denying it only makes you cuter."

Marius stuck his tongue out a bit, huffing indignantly again. "I'll pout if I want to, dammit." He closed his eyes when Evan kept kissing him, whining quietly. He turned his ears back and the fur on his tail bristled a bit from the stimulation.

"Pout as much as you want, it only makes you absolutely adorable." He kissed Marius's head and returned to petting him as he grabbed a piece of fruit and ate it with a smile, pulling Marius in closer. "I love you Marius."

"Mm…" Marius grabbed some more to eat as well, still pouting. "M'not adorable… I'm intimidating." He insisted. "I'm gonna be king soon for god's sake, I… I can't be cute, Evan…"

"You're not intimidating. You're mumbles and pouts and tiny weak little arguments are adding to adorable little you." He kissed Marius's nose. "King or not. You're my cute little sugar, and that's just that." He lay down and pulled Marius on top of him, cradling him in his arms.

Marius looked away and sighed, falling quiet for the moment. His ears drooped and he seemed to be curling in on himself a bit. He really didn't want to be underestimated any more than he already was. He wanted people to fear him or he'd never be respected. But apparently Evan would never respect him like that… Marius was just a pathetic marshmallow in his eyes.

(Not pathetic. Cute! Especially in a maids dress~) Evan rubbed Marius's back and held him tightly, when there was a knocking at the door. It was Evelyns voice. "Crystal wants to see you Marius. And Evan too." And then there was the retreating of her jingling bells. Evan groaned and buried his head into Marius, flipping over so Marius was on bottom, and he curled around Marius, pressing his head into his lovers neck.

Marius flushed a bit when Evan pinned him and pushed the other off. "C'mon. You're crushing me, and your mother will be expecting us." He slipped off the bed and pulled on his mask before leaving the room. He left without Evan, seeming a bit pissier than usual.

Evan picked up Marius and gave him one last kiss before setting him down and walking off, already feeling alone and empty without Marius in his arms. "Evelyn!" She was practicing her tumbles in the main room. "Where is mom?" "Library Evan." He nodded and headed up the long flights of stairs and strutted into the library. Crystal was sitting on a chair completely made out of pillows, and she smiled. She gestured her hand and two more chairs pulled up. "Sit, sit. We have matters to discuss." Evan plopped himself down, and waited for Marius to follow suit.

Marius followed Evan up, obviously having more trouble with the stairs than the other did, but less trouble than usual due to actually being able to breathe through his mouth now. He sat down in the chair provided for him and sighed softly, clearly still a bit huffy, winded, and annoyed. He crossed his arms, looking up at Crystal with one eyebrow raised questioningly.

She folded her hands into her lap. "I know Marianna is a handful, especially with you two as lovers. But. I am considering calling off the marriage." She said frontally. "I thought if Marianna met you, she would like you and straighten up her act, but her beastly actions have proven that a queendomship is just not in her foreseeable future. With that being said. Marius. I would like to take you to Obdin with us as we head home. You will be upon the claim of upon hearing Evans stories, you wished to study abroad. Unless you think of something else. I must save your sanity and Marianna simply is not matured enough."

Marius seemed a bit confused and had to stop himself from audibly speaking, reminding himself that Crystal didn't know about his mouth yet. Uhm… is that allowed? He asked. I mean, this is my home, and this is the throne I'm the heir to… is it just a temporary thing for research purposes? Will we be coming back? I don't want to lose Evan…

"Of course it's allowed." "Mother. We have to continue with this marriage!" "But you've seen Marianna. I cannot be putting anyone into harm, she's uncontrollable. She's in love with herself and money more then anything else." "And me. She cannot bare to loose me. I'm already not her tutor she may be acting this way as a way of rebelling or the likes." Crystal huffed and sighed. "I am only trying to look out for you two." Suddenly a few green vines came in and handed her a tea tray. "OH thank you! Tea dears?" Evan nodded and made himself a cup. "Look mom, if we don't do this marriage there could be a war or the likes. If you pull out, we will have to loose all relations with Marius's family, which would break his poor heatr because he couldn't be around me." "True…then what do we do Evan?" He shrugged. "Good question."

Marius poured himself some tea and then just stared down into the cup while he listened to Evan and Crystal talk. He wanted to drink it properly, but… Crystal didn't know that he could actually do that yet. Maybe he could wait until a bit later… He snapped back to the conversation in time to hear Evan talking about him, then beginning to run his fingers around the rim of his teacup. True… I wouldn't want to be separated, but… I obviously don't want to marry Marianna either. I don't want to be around her, much less marry her or be forced to produce an heir with her. Neither of us would be prepared to be parents regardless of the circumstances.

Crystal nodded. "And your parents are of course against you adopting because it isn't the true royal blood line. I know how it is." She hummed softly. Evan looked at Marius. "You can take off your mask if you want love. I kissed him mom and his scars went away." "Really? How interesting. Anyways back to the matter at hand. How do we make everyone at least as happy as they can be without causing problems. Any ideas Marius?"

Marius flushed a bit and hesitated before removing his mask so he could drink his tea, avoiding Evan's and Crystal's eyes. "Um… it would be easier if Evan was actually related to you…" He sighed softly. "Then I could marry him instead and the whole alliance thing would still work. The problem is that the majority of your children are adopted… I'm honestly not sure what kind of compromise would make everyone the least miserable."

"Also your parents don't support gay rights I bet." Evan said with a sigh, as he stirred his tea. "Be careful of the tea, it's hot." Evan warned Marius, before leaning over and kissing his cheek. Crystal was staring at her tea for a moment. "Sadly the world doesn't turn the way we want it too. We must come up with something." And so they all sat in silence, drinking their tea, all deep in thought.

"My parents don't support much of anything, to be honest…" Marius sighed, closing his eyes when Evan kissed him. "I doubt they'd be alright with me running off to your kingdom. Or with me not wanting to get married… it's my duty to support the kingdom and to get married to produce an heir, and they won't hear anything otherwise."

"I know dear I know. If only the children didn't have to be blood related." Evan nodded as he put his head on Marius's shoulder. "What do we do about Marianna then?" Crystal tapped her chin, and yet again a hush fell as they all drank their tea.

Marius sighed softly as he drank his tea, seeming pretty unsettled and stressed. He had a lot of weight on his shoulders… "There's just… there's not really a good option. There's no compromise that will work well for everyone. Someone's going to be unhappy regardless, and I know it's going to end up being me…"

"Oh dear don't downtalk yourself so much." Crystal huffed. "You're with Evan which makes you a Rosethorn which MEANS I will fight for you if I have to, my little rosebud. Don't you worry none." Evan finished his tea and set it on the little tea platter, still being held up by a vine as a little table. "I just don't know what to do." Evan said quietly. "And I hate that feeling. It makes me feel sick."
