She looked up at him and wiped her eyes "but what if I can't, jo? "
Jo shrugs.
"You're a smart girl, you'll figure it out. And just so you know: this was a terrifying experience. I would like to not repeat it."

"You? Crying? Yeah, that's fucking scary to me. I didn't think you could cry, honestly."

"I'm a human being jo I fucking cry, " she said wiping her nose
"Not in front of me you don't." Jo snorts, reaching over to the nightstand and grabbing a tissue, wiping at Nikki's face.

"That doesn't matter… " she said softly looking away
Jo sighs and turns Nikki's face back so they can finish cleaning it.
"True enough."

She rolls her eyes but doesn't move her head again
Jo sighs and finishes cleaning up Nikki's face.
"There we go."

"I'm not a child, you know…."
Jo shrugs.
"Doesn't mean I can't take care of you when you look like shit."

"oh so I look like shit huh?"
"Generally, when someone cries, they don't look all cute and adorable. . ." Jo snorts.
Although, you did still look pretty cute, in my opinion. . . they think to theirself.

Nikki rolled her eyes sighed before flopping down on the bed
Jo flops backwards, bouncing the bed - and consequently Nikki.
"Now. . . if I were to, say. . . shoot a man right now, would that get you back to normal?"

"it depends on what this man did… You know, I don't do revenge."
"Um- let's just say I don't like him very much." Jo replies.

"why don't we just turn him in."
"Because. . . the police wouldn't believe a wanted criminal and a lady who looks like the wanted criminal's accomplice."

"I'm wanted in like three countries jo.."
"I'm wanted in Russia, South Korea, the United States, the Phillipines, Mexico, Canada, India, Egypt, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, China, Japan, Austria, Germany and Italy. I'd be thrown in jail for life." Jo replies.

Jo snorts.
"I'm actually pretty damn smart."

"yeah of course, you are." she said rolling her eyes and curling in a ball
Jo sighs and scooches over a bit, draping an arm over Nikki and pulling her against his chest gently.
"I really am."

Nikki froze for a moment, her body, tensing up she lit out a soft before letting herself, relax and laying against him still in a ball
Jo smiles to theirself.
"Never mention any of this to anybody, sweetheart. Nobody'd believe you anyways."

"do you even have anyone in your life that would give a shit, do I? Let me answer for you and me… NO"
Jo chuckles.
"I'm sure someone would care, we'd just have to find 'em first."
