A half hour later, Jo steps out, this time with a towel around their waist.

It's hard telling if Nikki is asleep or not but she's curled up in a ball under a blanket sooo does it matter?

Jo walks into the living room and looks at the blanket that was Nikki.
After a moment, they walk away and get dressed, then go back into the living room, gently shifting Nikki so that they could lay down slightly, then pull Nikki back up so that she was half on him.
"Don't say a word, or else I'm standing up and never touching you again." they murmur, half-serious, half-asleep, and half not caring if Nikki did say anything.

Nikki doesn't in fact say anything I guess she was asleep, she just lays there quietly when Jo did move her didn't didn't wake up she didn't really do anything until he got comfortable and that's when she nuzzled closer to him and sighing softly
