Nikki was silent until Jo tried to set her down and her arms tightened around him and she mumbled something in her sleep

Jo sighs and smiles softly, lifting Nikki again so they can climb on the bed and lay down, now craddling Nikki in their arms.
"Good night, sweetheart." they murmur, closing their eyes.

Jo falls asleep quickly, Nikki in their arms.

She cuddled closer to him and smiled a little and she finally let her sleep take hold of her
In the morning, Jo wakes up, head pretty clear now that they'd slept through two entire days.
They realize that Nikki is. . . in their arms. And then they realize that they were properly cuddling.
And then their face heats up slightly.

Nikki stirred a bit in her sleep when she felt him move nuzzling closer to him and her legs curled up towards her chest
Jo smiles softly, moving one hand slightly to poke Nikki gently.
"C'mon, let's wake up now."

Nikki groaned and opened her eyes a bit "but I don't what too… "
"Come on, sweetheart, we need to get up and get to cleaning. Let's go." Jo chuckles.

"Ughh why do you hate me? "
Jo laughs.
"i don't, but it's Sunday, remember? The day you always force me to clean with you?"

"I hate myself. " she say up dramatically and swung her legs off the bed
"Well, I just so happen to not hate you. So stop that." Jo grins, standing up as well.

She rolled her eyes and stood up
" oh yeah sure.. "
Jo snorts.
"What's that tone for, missy?"

"I'm so tired.. "
"I am too, but we kinda deserve it for drinking so much on Friday," Jo says.

"Wait… What do you mean Friday it's only Saturday.. "
"Um. . . we started drinking Friday night. We passed out at, like, 11 o'clock. We slept until the afternoon the next day and woke up with hangovers. I puked, you puked, then we went back to sleep. We woke up this morning - Sunday."

"Are you fucking kidding me? "
"I am not. I wish I was. As to what the fuck happened while we were drunk. . ." Jo replies, his face flushing a little.
"Let's not talk about that yet, mkay?"

"What do you mean? what happened??
"Uh. . . yeah, about that? We kissed. Nearly got to more than that. But you passed out on the roof," Jo winces, preparing to be yelled at.

Nikki looked at Jo basically gawking at him and her case turned red "um… Okay it's time to clean now. "
Jo looks stunned.
"Um- you're not going to say anything-?" they start.

"I'll say something when I think of a response. " she said calm and walked out of her room
It was never good for Jo when Nikki needed to think of something to say; it usually meant he'd fucked up in a way Nikki was about to try and shoot him for.
Then again, she tried to shoot him a lot anyways, so it wasn't anything new.
They stretch, the walk out of the room.

Nikki walked into the kitchen and started to brew a cup of coffee she was just waiting for it to finish when she turned to face him "we… Didn't go all the way though… Right? '
"From what I remember. . . we did not." Jo replies, immediately focusing on the coffee.
