(How about three months? You can tell the gender at four to five months. XD)
I Know What You Did Last Summer [Private RP // Finished! Thanks for reading!]
(Four sounds good!! The baby bump is visible at four, right? And I think the baby starts kicking near five?)
(Baby bump would definitely be visible. Lol.
Kicks start 16-25 weeks, usually closer to 25 for a first pregnancy.)
(Great! So I was correct. Almost. XD)
Joy rubbed her stomach, smiling widely. The bump was visible. Scratch that, it was definitely visible. She was now four month pregnant. Just a few weeks more and she’s going to feel the baby’s kick for the first time…
“Bryce, when is the appointment again?” She asked far too cheerfully, running a brush through her hair.
(Lol. Yup.)
"Uh… Noon, I think. It's in my phone. I'll check it in a second," Bryce muttered around his toothbrush. He finished brushing his teeth and spit into the sink before pulling his phone out and checking his reminders. "Yeah, it's for noon. You ready?"
Joy stood up far too quickly for her own good, and felt white cloud her vision. She stumbled a bit, but managed to grab the chair for support.
Breathing out in relief, she shot Bryce a grin.
“I’m ready!”
Bryce reached for her when she almost fell, sighing in relief when she caught herself. "Gosh, Joy… You're going to give me a heart attack. Let's head out, then, yeah? Carefully, though," he teased her with a chuckle and a small smile.
Joy glared at him, crossing her arms.
“You are such a jerk of a boyfriend,” she grumbled. “Don’t get a heart attack. I’m fine. All of this is just making me far too clumsy!”
Bryce raised his eyebrows at her, his smile widening slightly. "Those emotions of yours are such a rollercoaster, love. I was just teasing you. How about we go get ice cream to make up for it, hm?"
Joy pouted.
“I’m sorry,” she said, walking up to him slowly and hugging him. “I would absolutely love to eat ice cream and jellies.”
(Jellies?)
"Sounds perfect, babe," Bryce chuckled softly, leaning down to kiss her softly. "After the appointment, though. Let's go see if that baby of ours is a boy or a girl."
(Wiggly worms, jelly beans… definitely not supposed to be eaten with ice cream.)
Joy smiled up at him through her lashes.
“I can’t wait,” she whispered. “Um… I might also need clothes…”
(Ah, okay. Lol.)
Bryce laughed lightly and release her from the hug. "Go get dressed, beautiful. The sooner we're done, the better."
Joy nodded and pulled out her clothes. They recently went shopping and she bought loose clothing that wouldn’t make her look too fat.
“Done!” She exclaimed. “Let’s go now?”
"Mmhm. Let's," Bryce agreed with a grin. "Today we find out how to look up names for the baby. Any ideas, love?"
Joy took his hand, frowning in thought.
“Um… I was thinking Madeline if it was a girl?” She shrugged. “I’m not so sure… I’ll be okay with whatever you choose, though.”
Bryce hummed, squeezing her hand gently as they made their way out of the apartment and to the car. "Madeline sounds nice… Do you think it'll be a girl? Or a boy?"
Joy opened the door, looking at Bryce thoughtfully.
“Whatever the gender is, I’ll love this child all the same,” she murmured with a smile. “I’ll be fine with either, but I think it’ll be a boy.”
"Of course," Bryce agreed softly. "I hope it's a boy, but I'll love it all the same either way, too. What do you think of Ambrose or Asher?"
“Ambrose sounds good,” Joy chuckled. “Mr. Ambrose, like Storm and Silence.”
"I don't know what that is, but okay," Bryce chuckled as he sat in the driver's seat and started the car. "So we have Madeline for a girl and Ambrose for a boy. Any ideas for middle names?"
“Actually, I’m leaning more towards Aurora now,” Joy said, frowning. “Dawn, the first appearance of light.”
She smiled, hugging her stomach lovingly. She couldn’t wait to hold her child in her arms for the first time.
"So we have Aurora, meaning dawn, or Ambrose, meaning immortal," Bryce mused softly before chuckling. "What names we've picked."
“Do you think they’ll be picked on because of their name?” Joy asked worriedly. “I know we’re picking names we like, but what if our child doesn’t like their name?”
“Well, then, they can change it,” Bryce said with a chuckle. “When they turn eighteen, they can change their name if they don’t like it.”
Joy thought over it before nodding.
“Yeah, that’s possible…” she murmured. “Anyway, let’s go. I’m so excited!”
“I’m already driving, love,” Bryce laughed. “I can’t go any faster without getting a ticket.”
Joy blushed.
“Right… sorry… I’m too excited…”
“No, I get it. We’re going to see the little child growing inside of you. That’s something to be ecstatic about, babe,” Bryce said, shooting her a quick grin.
They finally reached the hospital, eagerly waiting for their turn. Joy could hardly sit still.
When it was their turn, the nurse led them into the room, talking to them about the procedure and what they would do.
Laying Joy on the table, the doctor started the ultrasound.
