Mikki lifted his head a little and smiled up at Quill, “Yeah, I would.”
I will leave the light on ((one-on-one//closed))
Man down. We've lost Vizcaino. Quill returned the smile, continuing to walk. I want to kiss him. But I won't. That's…that's too soon, isn't it?
Mikki rested his head against the part of Quill’s chest he could reach. Is he was being honest with himself he wanted to kiss the other, too.
((Random Q, but when is spider season in Australia?))
Quill held him close but gently, occasionally glancing down at him. He was very cute, he knew, and very nice to Quill.
(All year is spider season friend. You can’t escape them)
Mikki sighed contently, a smile gracing his lips. This felt nice, and he really liked Quill.
((Yes, but isn't there a certain season of…lots more))
Alright, screw it. Bombs away. What's the worst that can happen? "I know we're only on our first date, but…" Quill shrugged a little, stalling time.
(Yeah nah mate, that’s a myth)
Mikki looked up at Quill, “But…” He bit his lip.
((Thanks lmao))
Quill sighed a little. "Screw it." With that, he took Mikki's chin gently in his fingers and leaned down a little to kiss him.
Mikki was a little surprised at first, but a second later his eyes fluttered closed and he melted into the kiss.
Quill smiled into the kiss a little, glad he hadn't had a bad reaction. A couple moments later, he pulled away gently, waiting for Mikki's response.
Mikki pouted a little when Quill pulled away, not wanting the kiss to end just yet. He was blushing a bright red, but he didn’t seem to care.
Quill ran a careful thumb along Mikki's cheekbone, thinking to himself that Mikki's blush was more cute than anything. He felt a little happy he was the reason he was blushing so brightly.
Mikki leaned into the touch, sighing softly. After a moment, he stood on his toes to press a light kiss to the end of Quill’s nose.
Quill huffed out a small laugh, wrapping an arm around his shoulders again. "Yeah…yeah, I'm definitely gonna stick with you."
Mikki giggled softly, hiding himself under Quill’s arms, “Good… because I don’t want you to go…”
Oh my god. Vizcaino. Wake up. What just happened? Quill nodded a little, grinning to himself. "I won't."
Mikki grinned himself, sighing contently. This felt nice. This felt right. And he wasn't too fond of the idea of this moment ending.
While Quill was screaming at himself inside his head, he was also taking in everything that this meant. He supposed they were dating now, which he wasn't opposed with. Mikki was adorable, very nice, and liked him.
As they walked, the trees and plant life became denser, blocking out most of the light. Small ights lit up the pathway, as well as fireflies.
"It's nice here," Quill murmured absentmindedly, taking in the scene.
Mikki nodded a little in agreement, "Yeah… I can't believe they could do this on a cruise.."
"Me neither," Quill said, shaking his head with a little smile. "But here it is."
Mikkin hummed and nodded himself, "I'm glad it is."
But just as quickly as they'd entered the hallway, they were out of it, the pathway opening up to one of the decks. It had gotten dark inside the walk, and now stars could be seen dotting the sky.
Mikki looked up in wonder, the stars reflecting in his eyes.
Quill looked down at him, smiling softly to himself before going to kiss him again. He honestly couldn't help it.
Mikki was surprised by the kiss but quickly melted into it, smiling.
Quill tilted his head a little, holding Mikki's chin gently with one hand while the other held him gently against him.
Mikki slowly wrapped his arms around Quill's neck, standing on his toes to push deeper into the kiss.
Quill smiled into the kiss, prolonging it just a moment more before pulling away for air, breathing softly.
