Aki kissed his forehead gently. "You'd better." He whispers hoarsely. His voice was weak, rough. He was so worried.

Cas couldn't keep eye contact with Aki anymore. He looked away, feeling guilty with tears stinging his eyes.
Aki glances at the other. "Baby?" He asks gently, squeezing Cas' hand. "I'm sorry- I didn't mean-" His voice shakes a little.
"It's okay…" He mumbled, weakly gripping Aki's hand back. "I'm sorry…"
Aki kissed his knuckles. "I'm just worried about you, love." He mutters, his eyes only on the other beside him.
Cas nodded a bit, glancing back up at Aki. "How long will I be stuck in here?"
"Not long. I'll move you to another room." He says gently, kissing his forehead. "So you're a bit more comfortable."
He nodded again tiredly. "Thanks… I'm sorry about all the drama."
Aki chuckles quietly. "It's okay. You just had me worried." He mutters softly.
"…sorry…" He mumbled, taking Aki's hand again weakly.
Aki shook his head, "Don't be love." he whispers as he kisses the others forehead.
"I just… I can't help but feel like this is my fault somehow." He kissed Aki back, his eyes weak and tired.
"It's not, my love. I can assure you, it's not." he kissed the others lips gently, his eyes kind and warmth.
Cas closed his eyes, sighing softly. "Is there too much damage?"
"No, not to much." he mutters, smiling a little. "I'm just glad you're okay."
He nodded a bit. "Did it go through?" He asked. "The bullet?"
"No, not completely. I managed to dig it out." He looked exhausted if you looked over him carefully.
Cas paled a bit, shuddering. "Th-Thanks… What about you, though? How are you doing?"
"I'm okay." He says softly. He chuckled as he leaned into the bed. "I'm just tired."
He nodded, trying weakly to pull Aki down to the bed. You can lay with me if you want."
Aki smiled gently and settles into the bed with Cas. "Alright." He kissed Cas's forehead and sighed happily as he did so. He was glad the other was okay.
Cas huddled up against Aki, sighing softly. He at least tried to keep his wound from bumping anything.
Aki gently ran his hand through the others hair, kissing the top of his head. "I've got you." He whispers.
"Thanks…" He murmured, unable to keep himself from softly smiling. "I love you…"
"Of course." He murmured, his grip gentle around Cas. "I love you too, angel." He whispers.
Cas soon managed to doze off again, the comfort of Aki enough to overtake the pain.
Aki held onto him protectively. He looked around before slowly dozing off himself.
Cas awoke an hour or two later, feeling very sore and achy. He groaned softly and buried his face in Aki's shoulder.
Aki was still asleep, sighing when he felt Cas snuggled into him. He woke up slowly.
"Hey…" Cas mumbled quietly, staying very close to Aki.
