Aki hummed sleepily. "Hey." He whispered back, his hand running through Cas's hair.
It's not in the Cards (O/O)
"I'm sore…" He buried his face in Aki's shoulder again and sighed.
Aki nods. "That's what happens when you get hurt…" He mumbles as he plays with Cas's hair, a content sigh leaving his lips.
"Well, I didn't mean to…" He whined, looking up at Aki.
Aki laughed quietly. "I know, love. I'm teasing you." He whispers as he kisses Cas's forehead.
Cas stuck his tongue out a bit, pouting. "Can we go now?"
Aki slowly got out of bed and stretched a little. "Sure… Let me re-wrap your wound and we'll go from there."
Cas nodded and forced himself to sit up, grimacing. He supported himself on his elbows.
Aki grabbed the things he needed before walking to the others side. "Alright. This'll be quick."
"Okay…" He sat up a bit more, leaning against the wall behind him for support.
Aki set to work, cleaning the stitching and rewrapping his wound. "Alright. Let's go." He says happily as he looked at the other. "Want me to carry you?" He asks curiously.
"Yeah, that… that might be best…" Cas said quietly. "I'm not certain that I can walk at the moment."
Aki nods and gently picks Cas up, kissing his lips sweetly. "Where to?" He asks curiously as he walks them out of the room.
"Just to my room or wherever you want to go is fine." Cas shifted a bit in Aki's arms, huddling close to the other.
Aki nods and carries them to his room, humming softly as he does so. He kisses Cas's lips as he shuts the door. He sets Cas on the bed and settles beside him.
Cas curled up against Aki, sighing softly. "Thanks, love."
Aki nods and kisses his forehead. "It's no problem." He mutters softly, playing with Cas's hair.
Cas shivered a bit, considering he wasn't wearing a shirt, and tried to move closer to Aki. "It's cold…"
Aki pulled the blankets over them, holding Cas close, kissing his forehead and sighing happily. "Better?" He asks quietly.
"A little, yeah." Cas yawned and huddled into the blankets, though he still tried to stay up against Aki as well.
Aki curled around him protectively, kissing his lips sweetly. "I love you." He whispers.
"I love you too…" He kissed Aki back before laying his head on the other's shoulder, enjoying the closeness.
Aki smiled a little, running his hand through Cas's hair. "I love you to the moon and back." He whispers.
"I love you to the… to the stars…" He stuck his tongue out a bit tiredly. "And back."
Aki smiled a little, kissing the top of his head. "I love you too." He mutters, his eyes shutting for a brief moment.
Cas closed his eyes as well and soon drifted off again when his pain dulled.
Aki curled around him, keeping him safe. He kissed Cas's forehead gently, settling back down.
Cas seemed pretty relaxed while he was sleeping, staying very close to Aki.
