Aki stayed silent, not wanting to say anything. He bit his lip a little bit, holding on tightly to Luciens hand.
It's not in the Cards (O/O)
Lucien rubbed his thumb over Aki's knuckles, trying to soothe the other male.
René approached the king. "Dad?" He said softly.
The king let out a breath.
Aki slowly eased when he felt the other rub his knuckles. He listened as the other talked to his father. He leaned closer to Lucien.
The king stared at Rene for a moment, then got up and wrapped his arms around the small boy.
Lucien held Aki's hand still.
Aki slowly moved closer to Lucien, needing to feel him there. He was terrified that he was alone despite the fact that he knew Lucien was there.
Lucien wrapped his arm around Aki, holding him close. "Thank you." He whispered.
Aki smiled a little, leaning into his side. "You're welcome…" he whispers softly. "I'm not sure why you're thanking me though… I'm afraid I might have complicated things… but… I'm glad I did."
Lucien chuckled softly, kissing the top of Aki's head. "You brought back my baby brother. Why shouldn't I say thank you?" He replied quietly. "Hell, at this point I'd do just about anything you could possibly ask of me."
Aki smiled at the feeling of the others lips. He chuckled at the others words before going silent. He snuggled closer to Lucien, the world was so dark, and it felt so lonely. He cleared his throat before quietly saying. "I think Rene could use some rest… Coming back from the dead is no easy task, and takes a lot of energy out of the person bringing them back and the person being brought back."
Lucien held Aki closer, and nodded. "René." He called softly. "Let's get you to bed, yeah? Your own rooms are…not fit to be slept in, but there's a couch in my room. I'll take the couch, if you and Aki want to share the bed?"
René nodded a little, coming over to his brother. "Okay." He replied simply, rubbing at his eyes.
Aki nuzzled into his side, breathing in his scent before smiling weakly. "Don't worry about sleeping on the couch, Lucien…" He mutters softly. "I'll take the couch…" He mutters, feeling weary and fatigued. He held tightly onto Lucien's hand, a soft sigh leaving his lips.
Lucien shook his head. "No, you're sleeping on the bed." he replied, kissing Aki's forehead, then his cheek. "Please?" he didn't want to make Aki sleep on the couch alone. Not with everything the other male had just done and gone through.
Aki leaned into the kisses, savoring each one. "You should sleep with your little brother. He'll need the support." He whispers as he nuzzles into the others side. "I don't mind."
Lucien frowned a little bit. "But I…" he sighed softly. "I don't want to make you sleep alone and cut off like that, love." he replied quietly, cupping Aki's cheek in his hand.
Aki leaned into Lucien's palm, a soft sigh leaving his lips. "It's alright." He whispers before tilting his head up and smiling gently. "I think your brother needs you more right now." He assures gently.
Lucien kissed him softly, mouth lingering against Aki's, before he pulled away again. "Are you sure?" he asked, looking at Aki.
Aki kisses him back slowly, sighing happily. "Y-Yeah. I'm sure." He whispers.
Lucien nodded. "Alright." he led Aki and René out of the King's room, and through the hallways.
Aki follows after them, holding on tightly to Lucien's hand. He stumbled a little, but managed to keep up. He had no idea where he was, but he trusted Lucien to guide him.
Lucien led Aki and René back to the bedroom, sending René to the bed, and looked at Aki. "How many blankets do you want? And are you sure you're okay with the couch? Because I can take it."
Aki shook his head. "Just one is fine…" He mutters softly, holding onto Lucien's hand. "I can take the couch. It's fine." He whispers before nuzzling into his side. "It'll be fine."
Lucien nodded a little, kissing the top of Aki's head again. "Alright. If you're sure." He replied softly.
Aki smiled slightly before nodding. "Yeah…" He slowly reached up to the others face, his thumbs running along Luciens cheeks. He felt the others lips before leaning forward to set a soft kiss to his lips. "I love you."
Lucien kissed Aki softly, holding him close. "I love you too." he murmured. "Thank you." he closed his eyes, trailing his lips down to Aki's jaw.
Aki leaned into him, sighing softly. He loved feeling the others warmth, loved feeling him close. "Could you guide me to the couch?" He whispers. "And what are you thankful for?" He laughs softly, nuzzling into his side.
Lucien nodded a little, helping Aki over to the couch. "Yeah. And I am thankful for you, love." he replied softly. "Because I don't know what I ever did to deserve you."
He smiled a little before kissing his cheek. He slowly lowered himself onto the couch, nuzzling into the soft cushions. He smiled at the other, or at least in his general direction.
Lucien ran a hand through Aki's hair. "You alright if I go now?" he asked softly.
Aki leaned into his hand, kissing his palm. "Yeah…" He whispers before settling into the couch. He was exhausted, his body giving into the lure of sleep.
Lucien headed to his bed, and lay down, looking at René and drinking in his brothers presence.
