Zackary grunted, not persuaded. “Okay, dear. Sure.” He kissed her jaw, then relaxed into her again.

Jericho stretched, taking a breather at his desk. He was right in assuming that it was going to be one of those kind of days. He was just glad that M had gotten out with Alison. He deserved to have a good day.
Jericho sighed as another bundle of paperwork landed on his desk. Being second in command was no walk in the park when the boss was out. He chuckled to himself as he got up to get more coffee. Glancing up at the clock to see when he could escape to lunch.

He had a major craving. He donned his coat, badge, and weapon before sneaking out the side door. Maybe I am turning into M… He thought incredulously, making his way down the street.

Eve's laughter was light and hearty. She fell back in the couch, her eyes watering with mirth. "It's gone! The moment, it's fluttering away, do you see it?" She doubled over.

Graci (or Resentment, whichever) stretched out on a bench. She was a gangly 7’0, which attracted a lot of stares, but she didn’t mind. She pulled her muscular arms behind her long blonde hair and yawned, her teeth glittering in the light of the sun. She shut her emerald eyes. It was a wonderful, warm, afternoon.

Neo laughed and hugged her close. “But you laugh on, my lady? What is your deal with that?”

Zackary rolled his eyes from beneath his lids. “Whatever. Sure.”

M grinned slightly and looked down the hill. “I’ll pass.”
