Evelyn gasped, a blush creeping up her skin. "I-I'm fine, Neo…. just thinking."

Eve looked into his eyes and did just that. He always had that power over her. She sometimes forgot that he was a mind reader, that he knew exactly what she was thinking about and when. That he knew when she was hurt, angry, or stressed. He knew it all.

Neo’s lips were pulled up in a smile. “Mmm…. I don’t know all of it. I’m sure if you asked my brother he could tell you.” He set his head on her neck again. “But I do know your surface toughts.”

Graci curled her legs up snugly, her eyebrows raised up slightly. “Well, I am rather intrigued by your bravery…. very well. I will allow you to take me out.”

Graci met his gaze with an eyebrow raised. “You’re certainly a rowdy motal. Mmm…” She sat up a bit more, looking thoughtful.

"Rowdy is my middle name." Jericho said chuckling. "But an honorable man is what I am. You seem new here, perhaps I just want to show you around." His mind snagged on the fact that she used the word 'mortal'. Weren't they all? Incredibly long lives yes, but still mortal.

Graci chuckled with him, half-closing her eyes. “So, where shall we go?” She opened her eyes again, smiling.

Brushing the odd trail of thoughts from his mind, Jericho jerked a thumb over his shoulder, "There's a nice bar just across the street." He said. He was baffled with himself a bit, drinking so early in the afternoon and while on duty? M was going to kill him when he found out. And he would. For sure. Dammit.

Graci swung her legs off of the bench and rose, lifting the mortal off of his feet and setting him down in front of her, smiling.
“Let us go, then,” She said, knowing very well that she could drink as much mortal alcohol as she wanted.

"Just to the left of the entrance," Jericho said leading his gorgeous companion. He had dismissed he thoughts from before, there was simply nothing rational about them. There was no way a god would come down to the mortal world just to fuck with his head. Graci more than likely had an incredible strong physical telekinesis.

Graci hummed softly as they walked, raising her head slightly and shaking out her hair. She was rarely given free time by the other Gods. This was fun. The mortal in front of her amused and captured her attention, made her a bit curious, too. She would play along with him. Let him do whatever he desired. He seemed very happy to be with her. Well, before he started doubting himself. Graci could smell it strongly from him.

M huffed for the umpteenth time. “I’m not tired, Alison. I want to spend time with you.”

M shook his head. “I am not tired, Alison,” He repeated with a slight chill to his voice.

M shook himself out, shaking his head with a slight disgruntled air. Something felt off to him. Was it because he wasn’t working? Probably…

M’s gaze flitted to her and he smiled unsurely. “Yeah. Everything’s fine.”
