Every year the university — let’s call it Carter University, named after its founder: John Carter — holds a camping trip to the shore of Lake Superior for all the freshmen that year. The seniors help with the planning and everything, but, of course, they’re too busy actually doing their homework to come with.
This year, the trip actually has a theme — besides camping, that is. It’s a mystery theme.
One of the professors is the culprit, and they will commit some sort of “heinous deed” on the trip. It could be something as simple as TPing the camp site, to something along the lines of “murder.”
The students are all split up into pairs, and our characters just so happen to be put together. Whichever team figures out which professor committed the crime, wins free food in the dining hall for the entire year. And that includes dessert!
