"But space is so prettyโฆ" She mumbled, half conscious and half daydreaming.
๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฎ ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐๐ช๐ฌ๐ด๐ผ!
Sterling chuckled and patted her leg. โBut Earth wants you back. Someone is waiting for you.โ
"He's not going anywhere. He can wait." She chuckled softly.
โHm, noโฆ But weโre waiting time that could be spent doing other things,โ Sterling murmured, drawing circles on her once more.
She sighed dramatically. "Fine. But only because I don't want my coffee to get cold." She returned to reality and finished her lukewarm coffee.
Sterling chuckled and patted her knee. โYouโre silly,โ he said as he drained the last of his coffee. โAnd Iโm done. Are you ready to head back?โ
"As I'll ever be. Let's go." She threw her trash away and headed for the door.
โHey, at least let me walk with you,โ Sterling laughed as he caught up to her. He wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her close as he pressed a kiss to her cheek.
"I told you, I walk quickly. Gotta learn to keep up, love."
Sterling huffed playfully. โI think I liked you better when you couldnโt walk,โ he joked.
"With the way you treated me last night, I'm surprised I even can."
โYou just gonna keep bringing that up, sweetheart?โ Sterling asked, leaning down to murmur in her ear.
"You didn't seem to have a problem with it earlier." She shrugged.
Sterling smirked and nipped her ear teasingly. "I don't. I'm just curious, sweetheart."
"Yeah, yeah, sure. Let's get inside before you bite my ear off." She chuckled.
Sterling laughed and picked her up, throwing him over her shoulder as he stepped inside. "As you wish."
She squealed and giggled. "Hey! Put me down! Let me at least unlock the door first!"
"Hand me your key and I'll do it," Sterling declared, holding her up with one arm and sticking his other hand back.
"Ugh, fine." She dug into her pocket and handed him the keys.
Sterling chuckled and unlocked the door. "Thank you, sweetheart," he said as he closed the door behind them.
"Whatever. Can you put me down now?" She chuckled.
"Hmโฆ No. I think you need a ride to the bedroom," Sterling declared, tossing the keys on the counter and making his way to said room.
She rolled her eyes with a smile, how charming.
Sterling made his way to said room and closed the door behind them. He set her down on the bed and plopped down beside her, chuckling.
"Thanks Prince Charming." She chuckled.
Sterling sighed and rolled over so he was facing her. โYouโre welcome, Princess,โ he teased with a kiss.
She smiled slightly. "You're evil."
โBut Prince Charming is the good guy,โ Sterling chuckled before reconnecting their lips.
"He doesn't have to be." She mumbled against his lips.
Sterling smirked a bit and deepened the kiss. โDo you want him to not be?โ
