Grayson finished his food and sat back, watching Moxiey affectionately.
Moxiey finished the sandwich, a delighted look on her face. "That was amazing!" she repeated happily.
"What did you even eat when you were a mermaid?"
"Seafood," she said with a playful wink.
"Isn't that kind of like..cannibalism..?"
Moxiey laughed. "No, silly! Wouldn't that be like you eating meet?"
"Oh..yeah." He laughed, realizing she had a point.
Moxiey tilted her head knowingly, a piece of her hair shifting in front of her eyes. She batted it away and looked around. "What now?" she asked eagerly.
(IT BETTER BE COFFEE)
Grayson grinned. "Coffee!" He ordered some for her and some for himself. He set it in front of her. "Careful it's hot."
Moxiey stared at the brownish-blackish liquid. "What does it taste like?" she asked, touching the cup with her finger.
"Uh…coffee, a little bit of chocolate, sugar, cream."
She hesitantly raised the cup to her lips, the warmth filling her fingers. She looked at him curiously, then took a sip.
Grayson snickered, waiting for her reaction.

Grayson saw her reaction and choked on his coffee.
Moxieysquealedloudly. "Graysonwhatishappeningthisisincredibleohmypearl!"
Grayson coughed harder and leaned over, laughing.
They were attracting a lot of attention now.
"Graysonnnnnnnnn!"
He took her hand and took her out of the cafe with their coffee. "C'mon. Let's go home." He continued to chuckle.
Moxiey followed him, waving at everyone she passed. "Grayson, that was so amazing! Thank you!" she said, some of the effects from the coffee beginning to wear off a little bit.
Grayson leaned over and kissed her gently. "Your welcome."
Moxiey's face filled with a healthy blush. She kissed him back, slightly more intense.
He led her back to his apartment and opened the door for her.
Moxiey walked inside his apartment and looked around.
“Sorry it’s a mess. ALTO IM HOME!” He yelled, dropping his bag down next to the door. Alto cane down the stairs and gasped. “You brought a girl with you!”
Moxiey waved. "Hi! I'm Moxiey!"
“And she’s nice!” Alto squealed, running over and shaking her hand aggressively. “I’m Alto.” Grayson rolled his eyes and sighed.
Moxiey was startled, but she enthusiastically shook Alto's hand.
Grayson took Moxiey’s hand and led her up the stairs and away from Alto. “Sorry bout him, he’s crazy.”
"I like him, he's nice!" Moxiey replied.
