Moxiey blushed slightly. "It doesn't matter."

"If you did this for me, I have a right to know." He replied.

"I made a deal," she replied, purposefully vague. "Now can you please show me everything?"

"With who? What was it?"

"I got legs, that's all that matters! Pleeeeeeeeease?" She gave him wide puppy dog eyes.

Grayson stared down at her, very suspicious. "Fiine.. Fine. Okay, follow me." He led her down the street to a bunch of shops and restaurants. "Take your pick."

Moxiey looked around, her eyes surveying the streets. "That one!" she pointed eagerly at a flashy looking cafe on the corner of the next block.

Grayson laughed loudly. "You need clothes stupid!"

Moxiey remembered, her face filling with a healthy blush as she finally noticed the people staring at her. "Oh yeah… Where can we do that?"

"I told you pick a store." He laughed still harder, pointing to some.

She pointed towards one that looked colorful enough. "That one!"

"Good taste, c'mon." He led her into the store and looked around, pointing out things that would look good on her.

Moxiey selected a pretty top (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/461056080593431752/), jean shorts (like… regular jean shorts), and white converse to try on. She burst out of the changing quarters and twirled flamboyantly. "What do you think?"

(whatever Moxiey did in the mermaid world has given her heck of good taste)

Grayson grinned. "You look beautiful." He told her. They paid for the clothes and went out of the store. "Do you want to eat now?"

Moxiey nodded. She noticed a dandelion growing out of a crack in the road. She stopped and looked at it. "What's that?" she asked curiously.

Grayson gasped and started dragging her along in a hurry. "Flowers! You wanted to smell flowers!" He ran over to a flower stand and bought a bunch of different ones for her.

Moxiey stumbled along on her new legs. She tripped a lot, but when Grayson handed her a bouquet, her eyes went wide. "Oh, Grayson… They're so beautiful…" she sighed, inhaling deeply. The aroma overwhelmed her.

Grayson smiled happily at Moxiey and leaned over the flowers to kiss her sweetly.

Moxiey cupped his cheek to bring his face closer and kissed him back gently. She pulled away just slightly. "Thank you," she murmured.

"No thank you." He grinned and stroked her face gently.

"For what?" she asked.

"I don't know, everything.."

Moxiey giggled and tucked one of the flowers behind her ear and wove it expertly into her hair.

"You look even more beautiful now."

Moxiey blushed. "Aren't we going to eat?" she asked shyly.

"Oh, yeah." He laughed, leading her to the place she pointed out earlier.

Moxiey perked up, seeing the brightly colored cafe. "Oh!" she exclaimed happily.

They went inside and sat down. "What do you even eat?"

"Get me what you'd think that I'd like," Moxiey said with a smile.
