Mermaid/romance rp thing one on one

Grayson took a step back, a sob escaping his lips.

"You deserve better than Moxiey," Diara sneered. "Even though you're weak, you seem quite likable…"

"Kill me instead!" He pleaded.

"No," Moxiey whispered.
Diara only laughed. "I don't think so, human."

'Please, take me instead. Please."

"I think not," Diara said, sheathing her blade and wrapping her fingers tightly and firmly around Moxiey's wrist. The pure mermaid fought, but her efforts were only in vain. "Ta-ta, Grayson!" Diara said, swimming away quickly and dragging Moxiey with her. Moxiey reach out for Grayson, but she was quickly out of sight.

Grayson let out a sob and pressed his hand against the window.

Suddenly, there was a tentative knock on the door. "Moxiey?" a small voice asked.

Grayson walked over to the door and opened it. “Moxiey’s been taken.”

(It's locked…)

Grasyon ran over to the door. “Please let me out!” He yelled.

(Lol, it's totally fine.)

Slowly, the door unlocked and opened. A trembling mermaid was shaking in the doorway. "Y-Y-You're not M-Moxiey…"

“You can do that thing right? That bubble around my head so I can breathe?” He asked frantically.

The young mermaid nodded out of pure fear.

“Well do it!” He said loudly.

She recoiled, her whole body shivering.
"Brenna?" A voice cane from down the corridor. "What's-" Rose appeared beside the mermaid, following her terrified gaze to Grayson. Rose's eyes hardened. "You."

“I need to get to Moxiey, please help me!” He said desperately.

"Why should I trust you?" Rose snarled.
Brenna cowered behind Rose's tail.

“BECAUSE SHES IN DANGER AND I CAN SAVE HER!”

Rose didn't look convinced. "Last I saw her, she was fine. She was singing by the grove."

“I don’t have time to explain just please, please! I need to help her!”

Brenna, who'd been observing, looked at him carefully. "He's telling the truth," she said quietly.

“Please..” A tear rolled down his cheek and he wiped it away quickly.

Rose didn't budge.
Brenna slipped out from behind her and swam over to Grayson. She looked deep into his eyes for a moment, then extended her hand to guide him into the water.

Grayson went into the water and smiled gratefully at Brenna.

She quickly made him a bubble. "Hurry," she murmured, looking at his eyes again. "You don't have much time."
Rose glided in front of him, startling Brenna. The older mermaid (Rose) sighed. "I'll help," she said reluctantly.

“Oh now that you know I’m telling the truth. Follow me.” He swam away and up past the window of the air room.

"It's not you that I trust," Rose muttered, swimming at his pace with half the effort.

Grayson looked around for Moxiey as they swam, not knowing where they were.

Rose sighed. "You have no idea where she is, do you?"
