North looked down at him worriedly, walking back to Insanity's office. "I don't think M is okay…"

Insanity glanced up. “Okay. It’s because he doesn’t have his Soul with him.”

(nothing)

North nodded and took a shaky breath. "Do you know how long he'll take to get better?"

"Okay..okay. Can you.." She gestured up to the ceiling. "I should go.."

Insanity nodded and stuck out a hand. “You’re welcome back any time. He likes the company.”

"Thanks..i'll be back.." She said quietly, taking his hand.

Insanity nodded and sent her back up to Death’s office. This time, Death didn’t acknowledge her.

“See you soon..” She mumbled, walking out of his office.

Death didn’t say anything. Life greeted her softly, raising a hand.

North smiled a little, leaving his office. She sighed and opened Neo’s door, assuming he was still asleep.

He indeed was still asleep. But something was off. Something tall and dark was looming over his sleeping form.

North stopped, still standing near the door. “Neo?” She said his name quietly.

Neo twitched and he smiled a little. The thing looked up and moved back down clsoer to Neo’s head.

North shook her head slightly and took a step back, leaning her hand on the doorframe. “No…you can’t..”

Neo made a faint noise and glanced up, shaking off whatever was on him. It looked offended.

“You can’t go…not yet…” She whispered, shrinking back against the wall.

The thing crossed its arms. It huffed at Neo. Neo jolted awake and looked up at it.
“Oh.”

North stayed silent, still standing against the wall, watching Neo.

Neo waved a hand at it and plopped back down on his desk for more sleep.

North cleared her throat, taking a step away from the door and into the room.

Neo glanced over and grunted. “Hey.”

"Um yeah..what the hell was that?" She asked, glancing up above him to where the thing had been.

The thing was still hovering over him, frowning.
“Oh, it’s nothing.”

"Doesn't look like nothing.." She muttered nervously.

Neo yawned and waved it away again. “Every God has it.”

"What is it exactly?" She asked, keeping her eyes on it.

“It’s laziness,” Neo responses sleepily.

"That's..good..I guess?" She tilted her head a little.
