Neo sat up slowly, yawning. “I guess that’s good.”

"It is..and I was going to go if you could.." She motioned towards the door.

“Oh, yea, sure. C’mere.”

North walked towards him and reached her hand out. "Take care Neo.." She said, smiling a little.

Neo took her hand with a yawn. “I will. You too.” He teleported her back.

North walked slowly back into the house, glancing around for any people.

It was rather late in the day here, so Pax was making something for dinner.

North walked into the kitchen and sat down with a sigh. “Hey Pax..”

Pax glanced over, almost burning himself on a pan. “Oh, hey, North.”

“M says..well not much of anything..” She said quietly, setting her head in her hands.

Pax went over and sat. “Was he doing any better?”

"I don't think so.." North said, hearing a little scream from behind her as Lila ran towards her. "Mama!!" She shrieked, climbing up into her lap and kissing her nose.

Pax jumped at the sudden noise, but put a grin on his face for the smol. “She sounds happy to see you.”

North smiled a little. "Yeah.." She said quietly, sighing softly as Lila laid her head on North's shoulder.

Pax stood and went back over to the stove. He watched it anxiously as he moved his wedding ring from finger to finger.

“You should go see him Pax..” She looked up at him worriedly.

Pax sighed softly and shook his head. “I have things to do here.”

“He needs you Pax..” She said, stroking her daughters hair gently.
