Mind Readers, Demons, and Gods, Oh My! (Closed//Stalkers Enabled)

A soft hum filled the hallways. It sounded mechanical and eerie.

North walked towards down the hallway towards Insanity’s office.

Insanity wasn’t in his office, but little Cupid was. She was cooing and throwing her arms around on Insanity’s desk.

North smiled a little and crouched down next to her. “Hi there.”

Cupid cooed loudly and tapped North’s nose, then burst into giggles.

North laughed a little, glancing around. “Where’s Insanity?”

Cupid went to babbling smol child mode, kicking her legs and waving her arms again.

North sighed a little but kept smiling. She stood up and patted Cupid on the head gently, walking towards the door.

Cupid babbled and the moment she opened the door to leave, Cupid started to scream at her.

North winced and turned back to her. “What? I want to see M.”

She’s gonna rupture an eardrum if she doesn’t stop screaming so loud my goodness.

North walked over to her tentatively and picked Cupid up. “If I bring you with me will you stop screaming?”

Cupid shut up the moment she was lifted up. She giggled and snuggled into North’s arms.

“Okay then.” North laughed, walking over to the door again.

Cupid blew a raspberry into the hallways as they walked. She pointed North to where Insanity was, which was a pleasant looking room with all kinds of animals running around.

North walked into the room with Cupid and glanced around for Insanity.

Insanity was sitting on the floor and feeding what looked like a mix of a tiger and a polar bear.

“Hey.” She kneeled down next to him, holding Cupid gently in her lap.

Cupid cooed loudly and reached her hands out for the beast, which rumbled softly and turned to her.
Insanity glanced at North. “Hey.”

“How is everyone? Including yourself.” She asked, watching Cupid closely.

The beast nosed Cupid’s hands and licked them gently.
Insanity sighed. “Alright, I suppose.”

"It's been five years.." She said quietly. "I thought he'd be better by now.."

Insanity shrugged. “It was a lot of Magic that was taken.”

North nodded. "Can I see him?"

“Yeah. He’s in the same room he was in.” Insanity pointed.

"Thanks. Is she going to start screaming again if I don't take her with me?" She asked, looking down at Cupid.

“Huh? Oh, no, she shouldn’t, now that she’s with me.”

"Okay." North set her down next to Insanity and stood up, walking to the door.

Cupid looked up after North, but the polion nudged her chin. Cupid giggled happily.

North walked down the hall to M's room, opening the door quietly.
