Autumn laughed. "C'mon, how'd that not wake you up?"
She shook her head and kissed behind his ear, trailing kisses down his neck.
Autumn laughed. "C'mon, how'd that not wake you up?"
She shook her head and kissed behind his ear, trailing kisses down his neck.
Alex giggled into his pillow. He was dreaming a whole bunch of butterflies were covering his neck and tickling him with their wings.
Autumn snorted and rolled her eyes. "Fine, then…"
She grabbed her phone and looked up a police siren sound on YouTube, starting it once she found one. If he slept through this, she'd give in.
Alex could sleep through anything, even a loud blowhorn in his ear. Which he’s actually slept through before. He snored on peacefully.
"Okay, I give up! You win!" Autumn exclaimed with a sigh, laying back down on the bed and staring up at the ceiling.
He didn’t answer. He was actually asleep. He snuggled closer to the warm pillow with another giggle.
Autumn closed her eyes and curled up beside him. Great… Now I owe him a fancy dinner…
Alex wasn’t lying. Lol.
(Skip?)
(Lol. Yeah, sure. You start or should I?)
(Could you?)
(Sure.)
Autumn stretched and opened her eyes to peer at the clock.
8:00 AM
She sighed and rolled over, snuggling closer to Alex's warm body.
Alex had rolled over and took her into his arms. He was still giggling gently in his sleep. Apparently time had no problem with him.
Autumn chuckled and kissed his nose. "I can't believe you're still giggling. Have you been giggling all night?"
Probably. Alex was still stuck in that wonderful dream with the friendly butterflies.
"It's morning, babe. And I gave up. You won. I'll buy you dinner, okay?" Autumn sighed as she looked at him with a small smile.
Alex didn’t hear her. He was still asleep and giggling.
Autumn was aware that he was asleep, but she was hungry and didn't really feel like getting up alone, so she was talking to him even though he couldn't hear her. She smiled at his sleeping face and pecked him on the lips.
Alex eventually woke up, twitching and stretching out luxuriously. “Mmmmmmm I had a nice sleep.”
"Yeah, no kidding," Autumn chuckled. "I seriously didn't even wake you up once?"
Alex blinked. “You were trying to wake me up?”
"Of course I was. Did you think I wouldn't try to win this bet?" Autumn asked, raising an eyebrow at him.
Alex giggled. “I didn’t wake up at all.”
"I noticed," Autumn muttered, rolling her eyes. "And trust me, I definitely tried."
Alex raised an eyebrow. “What’d you do?”
Autumn blushed and glanced away. "Nothing much…"
Alex chuckled. “Tell meeeee…”
"Well, first I kissed you, but that didn't do anything. And then I tried something else, but, obviously, that didn't work. Finally, I tried to wake you up by playing a police siren on my phone, which, again, obviously didn't work. That's kinda dangerous, actually," Autumn chuckled. "Like, what if the fire alarm goes off and you sleep right through it? You'd be burned alive… And then I'd be really upset…"
Alex raised an eyebrow. “What was the second thing you did? To be honest, I don’t wake up through my ears. I smelled something burning or cooking, it’d wake me up.”
"Well, that would have been good to know," Autumn chuckled, avoiding the question.
Alex raised an eyebrow. “No answer to the question?”
