"…Let's just say you were very giggly afterwards," Autumn explained, blushing again.
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Alex raised another eyebrow. “Oh? What did you do? Tickle me?”
(Debating whether or not to put pics of myself on the "What do you look like?" thread…)
"Not exactly," Autumn murmured.
(I’ve put out pics of myself before so I’m just like, “Meh, what’s the harm?”)
Alex rested his head on her shoulder. “Do tell me, then.”
(Yeah… I'm not on my laptop anymore, though, and that's the only thing with pictures on it of me that I like…)
Autumn paused for a moment, blushing still. What was he going to think when she told him?
"I… I may have, um, kissed from behind your ear and down your neck," she murmured under her breath.
(Ooooh. Gotcha)
Alex’s raised eyebrows fell. “That’s it? You can do that any time to me, you know.”
"Oh… Okay. I just, um… I guess I just didn't want you to, uh… get the wrong idea, I guess…?" Autumn said softly, hoping he wouldn't take it badly.
Alex shook his head. “I wouldn’t get mad at you for that.”
"Oh, that's not… I meant…" Autumn stopped and sighed, shaking her head a bit. "Never mind…"
Alex blinked confusedly. “What do you mean, babe?”
"Nothing, it's fine," Autumn assured him, pecking his nose.
Alex gave her a sad puppy-dog eyed look. “Come oooonnnn…”
"It doesn't matter, Alex, honestly," Autumn said, kissing him on the lips quickly. "It's fine."
“I feel like it matters, I’m just being clueless. What do you meeeeaaaannn?”
"Alex. Just drop it, would you?" Autumn begged, her voice tight. It didn't matter. He hadn't thought anything of it, so it didn't matter. And she really wished he would just let it go.
Alex opened his mouth to say something, rethought it then closed it again. He nodded and set his head down.
Autumn closed her eyes with a sigh. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
Alex murmured softly back. It wasn’t clear what he said.
"What was that?" Autumn asked softly, opening her eyes to look at him worriedly.
Alex grunted softly into the pillow. He didn’t raise his head.
"Alex? What'd you say?" Autumn asked again, chewing on her lip nervously. Had she made him mad?
Alex glanced up. “Nothing, babe. ‘M fine,” He said hopefully, seeing her nibbling.
"Okay," Autumn sighed, unconvinced.
Alex curled back up silently. He buried his face away, sighing.
"I'm going to get breakfast," Autumn said suddenly, standing and walking to the door.
Alex mumbled in response, not rising to come with her. He didn’t shift into her spot, though.
Autumn glanced back at him before walking to kitchen. She grabbed a box of cereal and sat at the table, eating it straight from the box.
(Nice)
Alex sighed and curled up into the sheets. It was cold without her in the bed.
(Coping mechanism. Lol.)
Did I say something wrong? Or do something wrong? Or is he just tired? But he seemed upset. Gosh, I hope I didn't upset him. I bet I said something and it upset him. Or maybe it was something I did…
Alex shut his eyes. Maybe he should just go back to sleep and dream about the butterflies. He probably wouldn’t get it back, though, since it was her kissing that prompted it.
